Rosellen Suites at Stanley Park

Pros: Good location. The room had plenty of space. Comfy bed

Pros: Homey, quiet, clean, helpful staff, of wonderful location

We enjoyed our visit to Vancouver and our apartment was adequate, comfortable and ideally located.

Pros: The location was excellent. Close to bus stops and only 3 blocks to the Hop-on, Hop-off tourist bus. Plenty of great restaurants and cafes, plus a large supermarket, within easy walking distance. A quiet residential area and quite safe. We had a ground floor apartment, which was ideal for our age group. We were able to store our luggage in the Suites office after we checked out, and pick it up later that afternoon to head to the airport.

Cons: The man on duty when we arrived after 5pm (that time was pre-arranged with the Suites staff) was surly and rude and complained about having to come down and let us in. (The Suites office hadn't sent us a code to allow us to get in ourselves!) It was a disappointing start to our stay, and very bad front-of-house presentation to a new customer. The same man was on duty again later in our stay of 3 days and was just as rude. He seemed hassled, rushed, and quite unlike what should be expected of someone who deals with paying guests. We need to commend the man who was on duty when we left though - he was friendly, helpful and just what a front-of-house employee should be. Sadly we didn't get his name. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, but VERY old, with dated furniture and fitiings, in need of painting and fixing things that were broken, etc. Considering the price, we had expected a much more stylish and modern apartment.

Pros: Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and friendly staff . Also, having a working kitchen and a separate lounge/dining area was a big plus to help save money and eat healthy.

Cons: For the price, it was great, but it is a little run down and dated. I liked the charm of the ‘60’s vibe, but there will be some people who won’t.

Pros: Very large upgraded suite, didn't have to ask for it.

Cons: A bit chilly, heat not very powerful

Wonderful, green, quiet location next to beautiful walking paths with birds.

Pros: Location. I heard birds instead of traffic. The location was near excellent restaurants, the seawall, and beautiful areas to walk. I also liked the the older style of the room. The location and the suite were very quiet.

Cons: The location is a long walking distance to the skytrain and Canada Line.

Pros: Right by a gorgeous park, very kind staff, and a whimsical elevator.

Cons: I am sad to read that the lot is up for redevelopment. I voted a big NO to that - I want the place still to be around the next time I visit my home town!

Great location and comfortable unit

Pros: Location was fantastic, right next to Stanley Park and a short walk to sunset beach and the many shops, eateries and bike hire shops on Denman Street. We were able to walk to the Granville Island ferry and bike into Canada Place. The living area of our unit was spacious and decor was cheerful. We really appreciated having access to the onsite laundry and helpful advice from the manager.

Cons: Property is dated , but good value for money

Pros: Fabulous location just along the street from Stanley Park. Supermarkets and shops a short walk away. Older style rooms but very clean.

The property was a little dated but had everything that was needed and staff were friendly, helpful

Pros: Was very close to Stanley Park and was very walkable

Cons: Code that was sent to us did not work and after a long flight it was a little stressful
