Coziest & Modern Basement Retreat East of Calgary

Pros: Both my wife and I loved staying here. You are going to have everything here starting from comfy bed and cleanliness to great and understanding hosts. Special thanks from my wife for a great heater which Ugo the host kindly provided for us. To sum up, great apartment, wonderful hosts we wholeheartedly recommend! ❤️

Pros: Very large space, all equipment are new and clean.

Cons: Better to provide the access information before the check in day via booking apps. Not everyone have a local phone these day and luckily i have so i can contact them

Cons: Occasional low hum of a service(possibly air conditioning)unit outside the bedroom window, although this was not an issue for the majority of the time, it did run during the night sometimes.

Pros: Comfortable cozy home. There was everything you need for your stay. I really felt the atmosphere of home. Nearby is a wonderful lake and park. Thank you for the feeling of comfort.

We enjoyed our stay in this property. We will surely book his place again if we happen to come back to Calgary.

Pros: The unit is very clean and well maintained. There’s a washer and drier in the unit which is a big plus. The bed is comfy and they provided shampoo, conditioner and body wash as well as extra towels. It’s like a hotel accommodation with your own suite. The kitchen was great we were able to cooked breakfast. The location is very convenient, 28 minutes away from the airport and less than 30 minutes away from Calgary. We drove to BANFF for 6 days for 1 hour and a half and it didn’t bother us at all! There are supermarkets nearby. The host was very nice, communicate promptly with any questions you may have. Ugo gave us a bottle of sparking apple and 4 bottles of water as a welcome gift. That was a nice touch!

Cons: Nothing, my husband and I were very pleased with the property.

An enjoyable short stay in a particularly affordable little gem near Calgary

Pros: We stayed 3 nights in the unit in early July, just as the Calgary Stampede was starting. The unit was clean, very functional, and adequately furnished. There was a clear attention to detail, with everything one may need made available, particularly in the kitchen and the bathroom. A well provisioned Keurig coffee machine and some refreshments were provided. The bed was comfortable with extra pillows and cover. The living room area included a large tv is with far more programming available than what you generally expect. The unit includes also a high quality and quiet washer and dryer pair. The unit deserves to be called cozy and modern. The unit is located in a nice residential area with groceries, gas stations and restaurants nearby. Calgary is easily accessible, around 25 minutes away from the unit. Ugo, our host, was accessible, friendly, and helpful. Kudos, Ugo for providing us with such a nice unit at a particularly competitive price.

Cons: The unit, being a basement, can be a little cool at times. A handy and efficient portable heater was available to use as needed.
