Bright Garden Suite Across From Park in Kitsilano

Nice area

Pros: It had everything needed for a self contained stay and the buses were easy to find and the supermarkets are close.

Cons: It does need alittle bit of maintenance but for its age it is ok.

Pros: Very good size, clean and in lovely location near sports field. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance in Kitsilano. Easy self check in and helpful hosts. Welcome fruit bowl appreciated!

Pros: The place was lovely. Such an excellent surprise to see that Netflix was included in the price! The bed was very comfortable! Everything very clean! It was really nice to know that the family was close by if I needed any assistance. They were very friendly and approachable.

Cons: Advertisement did not clearly state that this was a basement apartment. I normally stay away from basement apartments. It was a bit of a disappointment for me as I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and cool dampness really affects my body when sleeping in this environment. However there were a lot of advantages in staying at this place that I could not overlook!

Pros: Really great basement suite in peaceful quiet part of Kitsilano right by the park. Cozy generous lounge space to relax in, with sunshine in the morning at cute breakfast table, and lamps and blankets in the evening. Nice interior. Comfy bed and sheets, good kitchen, laundry, everything you need. Easy private access, and very close walking distance to shops, supermarket, good food, and right on the bus lines between the city and UBC. Hope to visit again next time

Pros: easy check-in, no hassle. The hosts are very responsive and helpful! Very accommodating as well. The suite is supplied with everything we needed for the stay. And the welcome chocolate and fruits are much appreciated. Definitely helped me out on my morning/night snack.

Pros: Host had great communication and were very accommodating when my arrival was delayed until almost midnight. The apartment was clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay and is located in a part of town I love.

Pros: Spacious bright suite, very well equipped kitchen and comfortable bed. Within walking distance of everything Kitsilano has to offer. The hosts were very accommodating. Will be back!

Comfortable and easy access to public transportation to reach downtown Vancouver.

Pros: Nice and quiet location, felt safe. Easy to access public transportation to downtown Vancouver.

Cons: We identified the house number by looking at the two neighbors, no clear number on the property. It was somewhat anxiety provoking to hope we had the right property, especially after seeing a dog when we went through the gate. We are animal lovers, and as such we respect that if an animal feels you are intruding it may rightfully attack. Thankfully this didn’t happen and we were in the right place, but we would have felt better with clear demarcation of the house number.

Pros: Location : close to park, lovely neighbour hood , we could walk over to restaurants about 12-15 min away. One pub was even closer Suite is cozy. Overall very very comfortable there. Suite is spacious, I felt at home. Can barely hear kids playing upstairs Bed was comfortable. Had all we needed in kitchen . Easy to communicate with

Cons: Just concern more for safety: One block on pathway is lifted. Can easily trip on dark/ day time. Encouraged to have that fixed -levelled Bathroom doors appear need to be replaced. I think visually unappealing (cracks ) also one door does not close smoothly. Pocket door hard to open. Yet it’s just two of us so we weren’t necessarily bothered but these days with price overnight stays everywhere I hope owners will consider a few adjustments. Outside of that we enjoyed home. Comfortable

Absolutely brilliant and so happy with the whole experience.

Pros: Everything about the property was brilliant! It was clean, comfortable and quiet. It was super easily accessible to the attractions of downtown and across the street from a park which hosted a farmer's market on my last full day in Vancouver. Jenny and William were brilliant hosts and even though they were above us, it was so quiet. Would absolutely stay again and recommend to everyone I know!

Cons: A cheese grater would be nice.
