Cabin with Fields of Dreams

Homey, peaceful cabin in a beautiful setting

Pros: No breakfast. Location was incredible, on an equestrian facility overlooking the fields and a mountain range. The cabin was new, homey, well built, comfortable, well outfitted, very clean and peaceful. The horse operation was some distance on the other side of a group of trees so did not present as noisy. We knew there was no running water but that an outhouse (very clean and not smelly) and outdoor shower (with hot water!) were right outside. The host was a great communicator and we knew would be helpful should any issues arise. The bed was comfortable. We would go back in a New York moment if we went to Whitehouse again.

Pros: Beautiful location with great views over the open fields. Outdoor shower was lovely and everything was super clean!

Beautiful cabin to stay while exploring Whitehorse and the surrounding area

Pros: The cabin was absolutely lovely and cozy, and the hosts were super welcoming and friendly, and communication the whole time was great. The location was amazing - surrounded by open fields with horses and stunning mountain views. The deck overlooking out over the mountains was the perfect spot to relax with a drink or dinner. It’s about a 25 minute drive to downtown. The place had all the amenities needed (cooker w/ stove, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, TV), and the WiFi worked great the whole time. There’s no indoor plumbing, but they provide water, and there’s an outhouse and outdoor shower (although this was not working yet when I visited).

Really is a field of dreams!

Pros: The cabin was cozy, comfortable and clean. Easy to get to and the owners were very responsive and helpful.

Scenic and comfortable get away cabin not far from Whitehorse!

Pros: Loved the location- secluded and beautiful view from back porch. Great kitchen with everything you need. Comfortable living room and bedroom. Really enjoyed the horse theme!

Cons: The hot water for the shower ran out pretty quickly- I didn't mind but probably a real shock for many. Could add a small light in the shower and outhouse. In colder months, hopefully a heat is available- didn't explore that.

Best Glamping Experience

Pros: The peacefulness and serene setting can't be beat. This is my second stay with the hosts, and they have provided everything one needs to stay at a \

Cons: I knew going into my stay that an outhouse and an outdoor shower would be my bathroom. No problem for me. It's like Glamping! I would suggest, however, that a foam seat in the outhouse would make it more tolerable to use in the cold mornings.

Cozy and dreamy indeed!

Pros: Beautiful place and unique location. The cabin is decorated nicely and has everything you might need for a cozy and comfortable short stay.

Cons: The only issue we had is that the hot water from the shower lasted very little and when cold / raining is uncomfortable.

Pros: The property was super clean and more beautiful than photos. Please stay here if you are traveling through. Our host was very helpful and great communication. Best cabin stay ever. We had cold and wet conditions. But we made it work. !! Heaters worked great .

Cons: Weather sucked. That’s the only bad . But the beautiful location made it all better .

Peace and quiet, woke up to a field of dreams.

Pros: We reserved the cabin on short notice for July 7, Monday. Inga was very pleasant to communicate with, by text message, as we had Tmobile Canada service. We found the cabin before dark (it really doesn't get dark as you're way up north 😄). The secluded cabin faces the wide open \

Cons: I was totally pleased. My travel friends were not used to outdoor facilities but they also enjoyed the cabin with use of wifi and beautiful scenery.
