Perfect place to chill out with access to seaside and lots of attractions in Vancouver area.

Pros: Lovely house in a wonderful neighbourhood, feels very safe. Short walk to a lovely village with lots of nice shops. Good WiFi connection.

Pros: Very spacious. Large comfortable beds. Excellent indoor swimming pool. Peaceful location. Good public transport access. Close to airport

Cons: The shower room was through the swimming pool area. It was difficult to access and the toilet had no lock and was shared with another double room. The breakfast facilities were basic. Fabulous sized screen for TV but no TV or instructions

Pros: The place was very clean and the lady running it does go out of her way to try and make everything comfortable

Cons: Sadly the place did not have hot water at the time I was there but as stated, the owner tried their best to fix the situation.

Marvelous

Pros: The stay was good, the room was impeccable, the bathroom was excellent and the most notable thing was the ease with which you can enter or leave the accommodation and also its amenities such as coffee, milk, cereals, etc.

Cons: The only thing that would improve is perhaps to do an initial introduction to know what can be done and what cannot, since being self-checking everything is a bit confusing at the beginning. But the accommodation itself is marvelous.

Pros: The place was very clean, friendly host and more importantly affordable in Vancouver. Me and partner had a wonderful stay and would definitely be going back for another night or two.

Comfortable rooms with helpful host and lovely garden setting. Walking distance to public transport.

Pros: Location was handy to public transport. Patio and garden were good for resting. Hosts were very helpful.

Cons: Given there are three rooms with various occupants, the fridge was small to cater to all.

Cons: Pool wasn’t uncovered for use despite being told it was open 10am 10pm

Great wee hideaway.

Pros: Super house, very clean, host friendly, facilities great. About halfway between city centre and airport so easily accessible.

Cons: Wasn't sure if we were allowed to use pool facility as it was covered and noone told us if we could open it ourselves. Host family were using pool later and didn't feel we could impose. No clear instruction how to get downtown. We arrived late at night and handle lock was first hard to find and secondly wasn't working so we had to text host. Cecelia came and let us in and was super nice but wouldve liked not to bother her. Also we were hungry after flight and didn't know where to go to get food. Host was also unsure.

Relaxing

Pros: It a lovely quiet suburb of Vancouver. Easy to get a bus and train into the city. A lovely place to relax and unwind where I felt safe as a solo traveller

Cons: They were having some plumbing problems but very clear to see this was being resolved.
