Bright and friendly hostel I would definitely come back to

Pros: Great location, friendly staff, large communal spaces, plus the pool table is in great shape and it's fun having the guitars in the lounge-type area.

Cons: Not the cheapest hostel but that's just Tofino/Canada for you tbh

Pros: The location and view from the common area is amazing.

Cons: I waited 3 to 5 days for the security deposit. If you are on a tight budget or need the deposit for a following location that is quite a long time and other accommodations managed to refund the deposit within hours. Considering the hostel not being cheap that is sth that can be improved.

Pros: We stayed for 2 nights in mid-September 2025. It was my first time in a hostel and I would recommend it. It is a well-organized establishment with amenities, frequented by multi-generational families and young adults. The place was clean and quiet during downtime.

Cons: If you check in late, parking is limited. Street parking is available and free at night, but payment is required during the day.

Pros: The hostel is a beautiful charming house next to the shore. In the community place the fireplace and a wooden house style makes the places more attractive. The rooms and restrooms were very clean. The staff was helpful and communicative. I would visit the Guesthouse again.

lovely, cozy hostel

Pros: The location is great, you can walk to the beach in 20 minutes but are right in town so lots of nice eateries around & the house itself is beautiful, I loved the chill out area with the most amazing view! highly recommend!

Cons: checkin times and opening times of reception are questionable.

Pros: The room was small with 6 beds in it but the bunk beds were clean and comfortable !

Cons: The price for a room($140 per person per night) to be shared between 6 people did not seem fair but it could be due to Tofino being a popluar destination.

Pros: The location was splendid, amazing view, and the guesthouse felt very cozy and friendly. There was enough space for everyone, the livingroom and the game room were a big favourite.

Pros: I absolutely loved staying at this beautiful accomodation. Magnificent views of the Trofino inlets and islands. CLose to everything. For example a short walk to many of the tours, Cafes, Resturants, and Art Galleries. All fhe staff were fantastic, organized, efficent, friendly and helpfull in every way. Everything was cleaned daily to perfection. One of the best places we have stayed in. . Valerie and Michael

A really nice living room

Pros: The view from the main lounge / dining area is amazing. The place has a nice 'renovated beach house' charm and is in a great location for restaurants and activities.

Cons: Parking is a bit of a nightmare. A 5pm check-in, 10am check-out and paid parking is pretty steep for the price. The shower / bathrooms didn't feel very clean considering the cost and limited time you actually have for you booking.

Pros: This was honestly one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at. The atmosphere was super welcoming and it was so easy to meet people – perfect for solo travelers. The staff were incredibly kind and always happy to help with recommendations or just have a chat. The location was ideal, close to everything I needed, and the hostel itself was clean, cozy, and had a great vibe. The beds were comfy, the bathrooms were always clean, and the common areas had a really chill energy. I also appreciated the small details – lockers, good Wi-Fi, and a well-equipped kitchen.
