Best Western Cold Lake Inn

Pros: The breakfast is amazing. You get a coupon for smittys. Not just a small setup buffet. Awsome!

Pros: I liked the location of the hotel. It's close to downtown but also near the entry into town (it's located in the old town of Grand Centre which was amalgamated into Cold Lake). Even though it's on the main road coming in, I did not hear any traffic noise. The other plus is the \

Cons: I was kind of sad that the Sawmill is going away but I can also understand that because the hotel is leaning more toward being more family friendly, it makes good business sense.

Pros: The breakfast was amazing, the hot tub was hot and the kids loved the pool/slide.

Not bad for not driving to Edmonton

Pros: Large rooms, close to home, large pool, smittys/steak house and had a little pub with VLTS.

Cons: Staff was extremely busy and they almost came off as rude! First 5 minutes of being checked in our toilet over flowed. I called down and she kept saying I’ll call u back in checking someone In 45 minutes we waited for the maintenance people. Went to the pool took them a hour to reset the system for the water slide( this happens constantly ) The coupons for breakfast are only til 9 am on weekdays and 10 on weekends? Why? That was extremely disappointing as we went swimming first thing and got to the restaurant at 10:15 and were told to we couldn’t use the free voucher..: Worst part… my friend went down to the car at 3 am and was quick, the staff wasn’t at the sliding door to buzz her in and she had to sit out side and wait!!!! The doorbell alarm was working too and no one was there!!

Pros: Location was fabulous aswell as having all your major amenities attached. Pool area was well kept and the staff was beyond personable and great presentation of themselves as professional and friendly. Will definitely be staying here for future visits!!!
