Ocean Promenade Hotel

Excellent ,very comfortable stay,lovely staff

Pros: Hotel is very easy to reach from Vancouver and Airport even without a car,each day I walked along the beautiful promenade then up to White Rock Centre to see Family(walk from prom up to town is uphill however the little local bus can be picked up on Marine Drive if you don’t want/cannot walk uphill).lLocation right on beach,only ate in cafe once and food was very good,looked like they had a nice selection of cakes.ManagerGordy and all staff I encountered from cleaning staff to reception were very friendly and extremely helpful and kind and know the meaning of excellent customer service.Room very clean,bed extremely comfortable.Bar across street from hotel,got take out food one evening which was good,various bars,cafes,restaurants further along Marine Drive.

Cons: One thing missing in bathroom is there is no toilet brush,although rooms are serviced each day(if you want)still think bathroom should have one.A small unit for toiletries to side of sink would be good as there isn’t enough space at side of sink or on small glass shelf above toilet for them.Although there is a cupboard UNDER the sink Ladies tend to prefer having their toiletries more easily accessible and not have to bend down to access under sink.Hotel reception was being renovated as was corridor on my floor (no flooring or carpet)although I encountered no noise from this still think it should have been mentioned on website.

Great staff

Pros: The staff were extremely accommodating with my needs. I am a gamer so I needed another power bar as the sockets in the room were not where I needed them and they were very quick to solve my problem. Much appreciated 😀

Great location and value

Pros: We stayed for 2 weeks in winter. Renovations are being done at present but had no effect on patrons at all. Very close to beach and restaurants. Very friendly staff. Very clean with daily housekeeping. Would highly recommend!

Our Beachview stay!

Pros: Everything was great from start to finish! We even had a view from our side room!

Cons: The only negative was we had to pay for parking!

Loved White Rock and the hotel was a part of that

Pros: Location at one end of White Rock, a quiet location in a lovely town. Helpful staff who advised us about car parking times. Fab beds and bathroom and a spacious room.

Cons: Next time, we may perhaps consider a room with a balcony as our window looked out over another person's balcony.

Pros: (1) Great customer service from hotel staff. (2) Excellent location (across the road from the beach and close to restaurants and shops in the area).

Cons: (1) Loud neighbouring hotel guest (i.e. went in and out of their room at a very late hour and didn't close the door quietly). (Not the hotel staff's fault, however.) (2) Paid parking despite booking a room. (Even so - given the location and space of the hotel - I can see why they charge for overnight parking).

Pros: Very nice and comfortable, being in a wheelchair there was room to move around .View was lovely

Cons: Again, being a wheelchair the handicapped parking wasn't easy, but they really to help with that. The suggestion would be to have high-rise toilets but heard that is being done
