Pros: The staff were lovley. Our room was really nice and clean and had the best shower! We had great views too and the property was best placed for the hikes we wanted to do... Also had amazing views!

Cons: Maybe more choice of food in resto.. But not a big deal at all..

We had a pleasant one-night stay at the lodge.

Pros: We had a good rest during our one-night stay at Helmcken Falls Lodge. The place was clean, comfortable, with spacious rooms, cabins on a large property. The staff were very polite and pleasant.

Cons: Our cabin was close to the designated smoking area, and the smoke carried into our room. We are non smokers and the smoke effected our comfort.

Serene lodge near spectacular waterfalls

Pros: This is a beautiful and quiet property very close to the walking trails to Helmcken and Dawson Falls. We stayed in a lodge room above the RV area with lovely pastoral and mountain views. We were in a very private, clean room and could park our car right next to it. It is not fancy but was just perfect for us. The beds were comfortable and the bath was newly updated. Joseph at the desk and his sister who we met in the restaurant were charming, good natured and work very hard to accommodate guests. We were surprised there weren't more people there after the overwhelm of tourists in Jasper and Banff. If you can make this side trip, do it. The provincial park and falls are spectacular and very accessible. Limited restaurant menu and market items so grab your supplies before heading up the hill.
