Heriot Bay Inn

Pros: Incredible service. The lady on reception was so friendly and welcoming and upgraded us to the entire suite when we only booked a basic double as we were the only guests at that time. (Off peak season). The pub attached is fantastic also, cannot recommend this place enough, all the staff are friendly and the pool table is free!

Cons: It was perfect

A memorable stay and one to be repeated.

Pros: A beautiful old hotel situated on the water in a cute Harbour. The place is extremely well maintained. There is a wonderful display of flowers and a beautiful garden. The rooms are on the small size but that is to be expected in an historic building. This is more than compensated by the friendly staff and the location. I will make this an annual destination.

Cons: As I said the room was small but this was a minor issue.

A wonderful way to just relax and enjoy the ambiance

Pros: Cozy, quaint and in the rare decor with snow, it was a whole new experience . I especially liked that the Inn was bought by several islanders to keep the historic building. Wow! We also really enjoyed their U of Q presentation!

Cons: The parking lot was icy but since that almost never happens it has nothing to do with the inn

Cons: It was renovation time so the restaurant was closed.

This is such a gem of a place to stay. The restaurant serves great food and the pub is iconic. I

Pros: loved the location fabulous views and close to Rebecca Spit

Cons: I have back issues and I found the matress very hard more like a futon

Pros: We loved the location and the friendly staff. The building has a wonderful old charm and is very clean.

Cons: No coffee available on site. The closest morning coffee is only available off site and not before 8 am.

Cons: The service at the restaurant (not the pub) wasn’t very good. But good in both was great.
