Almo Court Motel

Friendly owner, made me feel at home. Comfy clean place. Would stay again :)

Pros: Clean, comfy, great Kitchen facilities including stove top and oven.

Pros: Barb was so lovely and hospitable when we checked in.

Cons: Amazing location. Great value for the 2 big beds.

Pros: Basically clean. Great location for where I needed to be. Very quiet.

Cons: Surfaces like doors, walls, heater in bathroom were not clean. Really gross to see previous customers hair and handprints on surfaces. Night table leg was very wobbly on one side of bed. King bed was only comfy if I slept in the middle. Pretty worn out on both sides.

Clean, quiet and spacious.

Pros: Room service was provided during our two night stay which is hardly ever done nowadays. Room was spacious including table with two comfy chairs and two chairs on the balcony.

Clean but grumpy concierge

Pros: The motel was VERY clean and had been recently renovated so it was very comfortable and the facilities were modern and in good condition.

Cons: The concierge was weirdly grumpy. When I booked the room I made a request for a room on the second floor for safety and noise mitigation. My request was granted without any conditions when we booked but when we arrived and asked for the key, my spouse was lectured about the 2nd floors rooms were more expensive and that I was expecting too much in spite of the Almo staff agreeing to my request (if it was an issue why did Almo agree to it?). The concierge still gave us the room but we were made to feel like we had done something wrong.

A pleasant stay in Cranbrook.

Pros: Despite being on a very busy street it was quite quiet. Staff were helpful.

Cons: Check-in wasn't until 4 pm which was a bit disappointing but not a total surprise. Washroom, while clean and clearly updated was quite small, even for single occupancy.

Simple but well-appointed accomodation.

Pros: Very nice room, better than expected for a motel. Clean and modern. Free wi-fi. Door between the 2 beds which could be closed which was helpful for noise. Lovely petunias all over the outside of the property :-)

Cons: It was a bit awkward going up two flights of stairs with our suitcases, but we managed. The shower head emitted a sharp spray and couldn't be adjusted.

Comfortable stay

Pros: Older motel newly renovated. Bed was very comfortable.

Everything I expected - will stay here again

Pros: Clean room. Affordable rates. Nothing extraordinary but no bad surprises either. I consistently stay here because of the reliability and predictability.

Cons: There's always a little bit of traffic noise. But it's minor.

Comfortable.

Pros: Clean and well appointed. Nice to have a balcony with a view of the mountains. Property is well maintained with lovely flower baskets. The fridge was a decent size.

Cons: The only thing is that it would be nice to have a microwave.
