Good Value for A Short Stay

Pros: When rain in the forecast messed up my camping plans, I had to scramble to revise my road trip from Alberta back home to BC. Decided to book accommodations for one night in Hinton and camp elsewhere. The Timberland is very basic, nothing special, but for the money, it's a good deal. Clean room, comfortable bed, and friendly check-in. All I was looking for was a warm bed for the night rather than a cold, wet tent. The Timberland delivered on that perfectly.

Cons: When I got to the room, there was a very strong deodorizer/cleaner type smell, like carpet cleaner or something. I'm very sensitive to smells and it was actually giving me a headache. But I opened up the window and went out to walk around the area, and by the time I returned to the room, the smell had mostly gone... thankfully! I was ready to ask for a different room

I would book again.

Pros: For a modest price I got a clean room with a sink, and access to clean toilets and a clean bath/shower. The room was spacious enough to fit my touring bicycle and baggage, the bed was comfortable, the fridge and desk were very useful. The pub was not directly below so noises were no trouble.

Pros: Clean room, couldn't hear the bar downstairs, enjoyed some cold ones in the saloon, played some VLTs, had some donairs delivered to us in bar 😃

Nice rooms, great location with reasonable price.

Pros: The location is fantastic, as has a nearby information center for quick trip planning and beautiful window views. Also, a great room with a reasonable price.

Cons: Have people smoking outside the entrance.

Value for what you get!

Pros: It's always a great place to lay your head if just needing a clean place to stay for a night or two. Staff are always so nice, I'm usually late getting in and they are still with a smile upon arrival.

Cons: Walls are thin, but this time I had to use AC unit which blocked it noise.

Met all expectations.

Pros: Front desk staff very helpful, room was clean. Above a pub so was boisterous at night but did not pose a problem for us.

Cons: I feel that we got what we paid for and had a pleasant stay.

A comfortable stay in a very convenient location.

Pros: For a hotel at the cheaper end of the market, the facilities were very good. My stay was just an overnight stop while travelling, so my requirements were simply a clean room, a hot shower and a comfortable bed, all of which were amply catered for.

Cons: No negatives for me. I deliberately booked an inexpensive hotel, and was quite satisfied with the result.

Pros: The place is good, quit ,even city but you fell the breeze of fresh air. Good staff.

Comfortable and clean

Pros: Spacious room, fridge, room and bathroom were clean. Shower good and lots of hot water. Excellent value for money. Receptionist was lovely and informative. Good location.

Cons: Bed was very small, but we knew that when we booked.

Great place to stay to avoid expensive accommodation in Jasper

Pros: Despite the motel being part of a bar, and we were there on a Saturday night, it was quiet. Jasper is extraordinarily expensive. Hinton is much cheaper and is only 70k north east of Jasper.

Cons: Everything was fine.
