perfect ski in ski out location, good amenities, great central areas, good food, odd quirks

Pros: a wonderful lodge, excellent central facilities, nice central lounge area, and restaurant with good food and varying options, great apres environment, the apartment hotel has great sized rooms and a accessible hot tub in each of the three blocks and good undercover parking, staff are friendly and knowledgeable,

Cons: the ski lockers are weird and very seventies with narrow lockers and old fashioned hard to use locks, it is also very weird to have no housekeeping service on a spurious environmental basis, surely every third day would still be a good enough contribution without the inconvenience ? Fernie is an interesting resort lots of choice but poor run signage and with the second worst lift facilities in north america [red mountain slightly worse], the town is small but a few good restaurants, not much on the mountain apart from lizard lodge

Pros: Great location. Good facilities. Good sized room. Reasonably well equipped.

Cons: Kitchen lacked some cooking equipment . Quite pricey

well equiped condo, on the elk chair lift, superb hot tubs

Pros: Excellent location- true ski in ski out with fabulous hot tubs/ pool. The condo was a good size with a well equipped kitchen, full size appliances and very homely. Loved having the fernie stoke shuttle available to use as we didn’t have a coat to get into town.

Cons: $500 incidentals ”hold” is quite high…

Great place to stay when skiing/boarding at Fernie

Pros: Great place to stay Close to lifts, ski valet, undercover parking and the room was much larger than I expected

Pros: Beautiful property in the mountains, lots of cool stuff to do, the restaurant looked nice and the staff were exceptional

Cons: The restaurant was closed for the season and we didn't get a chance to try it, but everything else was great!

We stayed off season and was very happy for the peace and quiet.

Pros: Great size room with easy access to parking and hotel facilities. We had everything we needed and in a quiet location.

Cons: Shower in master was hard to fathom and always hate having to reach to turn on with a facefull of cold water.

Exceeded our expectations!

Pros: The amenities are excellent and the mountain view is absolutely stunning. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, which made our stay even better. We booked the loft room and it was clean and very spacious, complete with a washer and dryer (such a convenient touch). The lodge is also just a less than 10-minute drive from downtown.

Cons: The only drawbacks were the elevator, which is a little outdated and makes creaking sounds, and the road leading to the lodge, which is an uphill drive and has a few curves—something to keep in mind if you’re not used to mountain roads.

Would definitely recommend and if we are in the area again we will stay there again.

Pros: The location was perfect. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the most delicious meal in the restaurant. I have coeliac disease and was catered for wonderfully.

Cons: The top of the fridge freezer was dirty and underneath the armchair

Lovely stay up in the mountains!

Pros: Lovely location, facilities and staff. We had a really great time. The room was gorgeous, the kitchen well-equipped, the beds comfy. The view was magnificent! The pool was a huge plus for our three year old.

Cons: The only thing I didn't like was that some of the electronics and appliances in the room were outdated. The range, fridge and outlets could use some update.

A little slice of calm and luxury

Pros: We absolutely loved the location. The setting and views were stunning. Our room had everything we needed was spacious with a lounge kitchen and balconies. The food in the restaurant was very tasty. The pool was lovely and very welcome on those warm days. all staff were very helpful, professional and happy. We would love to Return x
