Would definitely recommend

Pros: Had Everything that we needed. Bed, shower, storage room to store our ski hire, kitchenette with oven and stove top. Staff were very friendly and it was an easy process to check in and out. Streets were quiet surrounding, although the hallways were pretty loud when people were leaving and early to go to the snow in their snow shoes. Really enjoyed our stay here :)

Cons: No access to washing machine or dryer but there was a coin laundry only a 5 min walk down the street, so that was fine :)

Banff Basecamps Christmas

Pros: We liked everything. It was a joy to stay in Banff Basecamp Suites over Christmas. I was hard to actually pack our stuff and leave. The view of the mountains every morning was stunning.

Cons: Only the storage issue really. Maybe some cupboards by the beds to store clothes. Maybe more hangers too. But honestly it was lovely. The hot tub was great even in -20

A good choice

Pros: This property is very centrally located in Banff. Our two bedroom apartment was very clean when we arrived. The self check-in worked well. The kitchen was very well equipped and we used it. Beds by all reports are comfy. We liked that the parking garage was connected to the property and we could park on the same level as our unit.

Cons: $35/night for parking seemed a bit steep after paying $800/night for the room.

WE ENJOYED OUR SHORT STAY

Pros: Bed was comfortable. Amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) were great to have. The towels were plush and the suite was very clean. The mountain view was a plus. The hotel was in a perfect location and close to all the restaurants and shops

Cons: Unfortunately, we could not check in earlier as requested. But we handed our luggage to the front desk and ate lunch and walked the beautiful town of Banff. Our room became available around 3:00 pm.

Great location, clean and comfortable.

Pros: Fantastic central location. Only a couple of minutes walk to the Roam Transit stop for Lake Louise/Moraine. A minute from the supermarket. Clean and comfortable property. Good little kitchen where we made several meals.

Cons: The apartment is pretty small, with no room for suitcases in one room, which left it all pretty cramped with suitcases in the main living space. The parking situation was frustrating. You have to pay $35 for 24hrs in the car park that literally opens out into the corridor of the Basecamp rooms, and have to reset that payment every time you want to take the car out. Alternatively you do what we did and do a frustrating manouvering between the free train station parking during the day until 8pm, and then moving to the free overnight road parking at 8pm. For accommodation that is costing this much that has a car park that is directly attached to the rooms’ corridor, it feels very steep to make people pay for parking. We didn’t use the hot tub because it is is smacked in the middle of the rooftop carpark lot, in between all of the spaces so it is rather unattractive. It didn’t feel particularly hot and didn’t look that clean, so I wouldn’t book this property primarily for the hot tub feature if that’s a driving force.

Such a great place to stay. Easy access to all tourist experiences. So close to restaurants, shops and the gondola.

Pros: The location, the easy going rapport with the staff and nothing was too much trouble

Cons: Bedrooms were a bit tight with big bags but still would stay against
