A wonderful place to stay

Pros: Walking through the front door into the apartment we knew we had arrived in a fabulous place. Spacious, well furnished and very comfortable to live in. This place is quality! Look through any of the many windows at the stunning views across the water towards the islands. And don’t miss the beautiful sunrises. The swimming pool is kept at a lovely temperature and the ‘hot’ tub is hot and very relaxing. Location is great for exploring Vancouver Island too. Plenty of places nearby to eat out and a well stocked shop not far away if you decide to eat in. The kitchen in the apartment is very well equipped. We absolutely loved staying here. Everything about this place helped us enjoy a great holiday.

Great flat, got more kitchen gadgets than Gordon Ramsey, amazing views

Pros: This place is amazing. It's huge, and everything is very good quality. The view is incredible, although expect some noise from the pool, obviously. It has probably the best equipped kitchen I've ever seen in a holiday let. It was a little on the expensive side for us (it was a last minute booking because we couldn't get to our original booking in Tofino) - but would be amazing value for 2 couples or a family.

Cons: The only issue was that they sent us an email with check-in instructions just before our planned check-in time. We're not from Canada and don't have internet access here, so we didn't get these instructions as we were on the road. I had assumed that the lack of instructions meant that there would be a reception desk on arrival (which is usually the case when there are no instructions). Instead we arrived and had no idea where we were staying or how to get in. This was all sorted out with a quick phone call and a wi-fi stop at the nearest Tim Hortons, though, and when we arrived the host's mum found us and was very apologetic. Sorry if we stressed you out! I think check-in could be improved by sending this information out a lot earlier, and making it clear on booking that this information is coming.
