Brown's Beach Guest Suite

A lovely property in an excellent location

Pros: This was the last multi-night stop on my trip to Vancouver Island and was a lovely end to the trip. The owners, Katherine and Andy, were very helpful in providing additional details for places to visit. The house is well located for local amenities and access to the Pacific Trail and Lighthouse. The kitchen area is well fitted with modern appliances, the main room has a comfortable sofa with flat screen TV. The bed area is up stairs to a mezzanine level, with a very comfortable bed. On my last day before checking out I got very wet on my trip but was able to dry out my clothing and camera gear by using the excellent heating. I didn't use the deck area but it was well equipped with furniture and a BBQ / grille.

Cons: Nothing in particular but worth noting the stairs up to the sleeping area are quite steep, if you have a problem climbing stairs (I didn't)

Lovely weekend stay!

Pros: Lovely place with everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. Really convenient location for Ucluelet. Hosts were very responsive and gave great recommendations on things to do. Had a great stay here.

Pros: Great private space. nice and clean, friendly owners with very sweet dogs .

Lovely private suite amongst the trees

Pros: Private, quiet accommodation , near Wild Pacific Trail. Lovely clean deck with table, bbq and potted plants surrounded by trees. Friendly host, good kitchen supplies and a box of goodies to start our trip. Even provided a small milk and cream.

Cons: Nothing for us but be aware there is a ladder to the bed in a loft so would be an issue for those with mobility issues.

Inexpensive, well-located feel-good place

Pros: It was a very tidy, cute and cosy place. Lots of snack/coffee options were provided, kitchen area was well equipped. Generally very clean, we felt right home. We stayed only one night and kind of regretted not staying longer, did not get to use the patio and BBQ, which was available. Place was easy to find, parking was available on-site. We would recommend staying there for everyone who plans to stay in the area, the suite offered everything you would need for a stay of a couple of days.

Excellent base to explore West Coast

Pros: Nice compact unit, well equipped, with its own outside private decking area. Parking space on driveway. Hosts friendly & helpful. Would mention that the bed was a loft arrangement above the living space only accessible by a steep ladder. Not a problem for ourselves but should be noted by potential guests.

Pros: Very friendly hosts. Delightful apartment. Beautifully appointed. Great views over the tree tops. Climbing the ladder to the bed on the mezzanine floor makes you feel you are sleeping in a cosy tree house.
