Marketplace Lodge by Whistler Retreats

Great stay

Pros: The location couldn’t be better- just over the street there’s a grocery store and beginning of the village stroll through Whistler village. The Gondola lifts are walkable distance away however no need to walk- just across the street there’s a free shuttle bus stop that runs regularly and frequently and takes you to gondola in 2min. The apartment was clean and comfortable.

Cons: Some of the facilities could have gad a bit more explanation re how to operate them .

Comfortable, convenient and a great area to explore

A very nice place to stay

Pros: Very clean. Had everything at hand. Secure parking. In the middle of the village so everything was close by. Had a small problem on check in but that was very quickly sorted. A very nice place to stay. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

The best place to stay in Whistler

Pros: There's no better location to stay at in Whistler than here; you have literally everything steps away, including being in the middle of the trails going to all the main sightseeing places. The room was great, with a very nice space for the bathroom and a balcony. We appreciated communication through WhatsApp for the deposit payment, as it was much better for us than through mail or a call. Instructions for check-in and check-out where clear and once you get the fobs from the room, you're good to go on using the Marketplace as you need.

Cons: It's quite a few list items to get through to enter the building, so make sure to read them carefully. The elevator near the room wasn't working, so this complicated moving our luggage and when we used our car, but this is a building situation rather than something related to the room.

Pros: Great location, close to the action but at the quieter end of the village. Loved sitting out on the balcony.

Cons: A little warm at night but the fan did help.

comfy, perfect location, clean

Pros: prior to staying you have to telephone the property to give credit card details as a deposit. As i was on a non canadian phone network i couldnt call so Tanya in the office was very helpful. Our apartment (227) was well equipped with a very comfortable bed, a well stocked kitchen, a longue with 2 sofa beds, fire place and A/C, and a balcony. location is in Whistler Centre with supermarket and liqour store opposite. local bars, restaurant, activities and bears are all within walking distance.

Cons: when we booked the room a hot tub was advertised (this swayed our decision to stay here), when we recieved the booking info the week before we saw in the small print that the hot tub was closed for refurb (it would of been gogood to know this in advance)

Modern, clean and great location.

Pros: We immediately upgraded to Number 227, with bedroom and sofa bed for an extra 39 CAD per night. Recommended! Modern, clean apartment, dishwasher etc Well equipped kitcken. Great views. V close to supermarket.. Quiet in the evening as not in restaurant zone..

Cons: Very warm in flat although outside temp low twenties.
