Money Pennies Bed and Breakfast

Fond memories.

Pros: An amazing and very welcome offer to pick me up from the town centre where the Interisland bus dropped me off at 8-30pm! Then, also, on departure a couple of days later, picked up from town after my walk along the pier for a transfer to the airport! Who else offers such personal service? A very large and extremely comfortable room, better equipped than a luxury hotel. The softest sheets you could imagine, and any possible toiletry you could ever want. Delicious and generous home cooked breakfasts: blueberry pancakes one morning, ham omelette the next! Lorries is the perfect hostess, and we had long , interesting conversations and I learnt a lot about Canada in general, and Vancouver Island in particular. A very personable and delightful stay. Thank you, Lorrie.

Great stay with a great host!

Pros: Great place for a short stopover in Campbell River. Room was big and very clean but the best part is the host who is genuinely lovely and the breakfast was delicious too!

Excellent B+B

Pros: Lorrie was an amazing host. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean and comfortable with ensuite bathroom and lots of little extras to help you feel right at home and delicious breakfasts too. Lorrie was helpful with recommendations for dinner and little secret spots to enjoy the local wildlife. We highly recommend this B+B.

Lovely room, welcoming host. Perfect place to explore campbell river

Pros: Lovely view of the ocean from the big airy bedroom. Delicious breakfast both mornings. Lottie was a fantastic host. We walked down to the marina both evenings for dinner (15 minutes each way).

Pros: We had an amazing time and Laurie was one of the kindest person we've ever met😊 We will definitely be back!

Cons: Nothing! 😀

Pros: Clean and spacious character house, very little noise or traffic in the neighborhood with a good view to the campbell river downtown area. They provide a great breakfast ritual for guests and also should be said that the hosts are flexible around the bookings and accessible. Comfortable and bright house with a spacious garden. Wouldn't recommend for couples or anyone just drifting through who wants some more flair.

Pros: We really liked the accommodation. Above all, the very friendly and personable hostess. We got blueberry pancakes in the morning. They were super tasty. Warm greetings from Germany.

Exceptional host, lovely room, great breakfast, a must!!!

Pros: Lori was an exceptional host who went above and beyond what we expected. Dropping us off at the airport and offering to take us into the main town centre was incredibly kind (and saved us $80 on a taxi!!). The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The breakfast super great. Lori even made us a take away breakfast on a day we were leaving at 0600 for a bear tour. Highly highly recommend.
