A great stay at Orca (or for me 'Seal') Cove

Pros: The view from the deck is spectacular. The bed is very comfortable and the room really has everything you could need for a night or two; hot shower, binoculars, hooks to hang things, recommendations for the area, etc. The breakfast was lovely! There was enough for me to take some leftover for my hike later in the morning. I was only staying the one day but I definitely had the impression right from arrival that, were I to ask any questions or need help, the owners would have been happy to oblige.

Cons: There wasn't anything I didn't like. I was a little nervous parking next to Flynn (the 'guard dog') when I first arrived (incase he ran too close to the car). But he's very friendly and he lost interest in my coming and going pretty quickly.

Would definitely stay there again !

Pros: the unit is stocked with a few snack items including tea and coffee and they serve a great bento box continental style breakfast in the morning, The unit is also very nicely decorated providing a homey ambience and is situated overlooking the water, what a great view to wake to wake up too! And soo close to the ferry terminal (2 minute drive, you can see the ferry coming in from the unit)

Cons: The pull out bed was a bit uncomfortable, the springs were felt. Probably not going to be comfortable for an adult or teenager but our three year old slept on the pull out so was not an issue for us.

Lovely stay, superb location, excellent continental breakfast.

Pros: Superb Canadian Continental breakfast i.e. yoghurt, fruit, granola, muffins.

Cons: Bathroom towels were mediocre.

Pros: The view from the deck was amazing. Unfortunately the day we were there it was constantely raining so we were quite happy to have such a comfortable place to stay at.

Nice and comfortable place

Pros: Nice location and beautiful view. Direct access to the sea.

Cons: Breakf east is cold and consist only of sweets. Interaction with the host are conducted via email and texting, no human interaction. But I could talk to the owner.

Pros: The location is just stunning and perfect for those, who don’t expect glamorous lodging, but would love to experience impressive sightseeing right from the bed and the balcony.

A very memorable stay in a wonderful apartment in a beautiful location.

Pros: The apartment was located a few minutes from the ferry terminal and had a wonderful location overlooking the waterfront. Our room windows and outdoor decking where we could sit-out and relax provided amazing uninterrupted views across the sound and the the mountains beyond. The apartment was spacious and spotlessly clean, had a very comfortable bed.and was tastefully furnished. We also had the benefit of a fridge, microwave, kettle and coffee maker. Breakfast was provided on a tray and was a was a combination of yogurt, fresh fruit, granola, fresh cookies and a cake - it was delicious and very thoughfully presented.

Pros: Fantastic place. Wonderful view. Friendly staff and great breakfast. This was a highlight of our sunshine coast trip.
