Pros: Charlie & Satoe were perfect hosts from start to finish!

Cons: Nothing. Everything was perfect.

Fabulous stay - a rare gem.

Pros: Everything!! Location was breathtaking. Cleanliness outstanding. Helpfulness and kindness of the hosts was so appreciated. Communication from Charlie was very quick and he went out of his way to make sure everything was good for us. Very discrete and yet there when needed. Perfect hosting! The facilities in the apartment were first class. Even a pool table in the living area! Everything that could be needed for an ideal home away from home stay. And so much room too. Hopefully some day we will be able to visit again. I would never stay anywhere else in the area!

Cons: Having to leave. This was the best accommodation of our Canada trip without a doubt. We really didn't want to leave!!

Pros: Totally a perfect stay! We stayed there for 4 nights with a family of 4 adults and 2 kids. They room very very nice and clean, just perfect for a family! So lucky that we decided to stay here, instead of pricy hotels in banff! Charlie is very nice and helpful. He offered us a lot tips during our trip too. Breakfast is also a must try. Charlie made sushi for my son, which is his favorite! I highly recommend this place to everyone, and I am sure you wont get disappointed!

Japanese hospitality at its very best.

Pros: A very clean, spacious and yet cozy interior with one large living room, two bedrooms and a kitchen, with all amenities ready. Charlie the owner is very friendly and helpful in providing everything we need. Travel tips about Banff are accurate and informative. It is homely, just like we have lived in a Japanese family. This b&b is located in Canmore, a great place used as a base to explore Banff National Park, it’s more affordable and less busy.

Cons: Nothing to complain.

Loved staying in Canmore with excellent restaurants and much less of a tourist mob scene.

Pros: The breakfast was delivered to us and was very good with eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, bread and salad along with excellent coffee. I enjoyed chatting with the owners who were very friendly and helpful in making recommendations for our visit. They were delightful.

Pros: L’accueil et la gentillesse de Charlie et sa femme. Le logement est tres grand, très bien équipé et très bien placé.

A great stay in great lodging with great hosts.

Pros: Most of all, the Ogawas are wonderful hosts. Spotless and all the comforts of home. Both before and during our stay, the communication was very helpful, and they made our stay extremely comfortable and easy. The main bed made for a good night's sleep, and there were more rooms/space than we had anticipated. The breakfast was great, and the Ogawas had all the appliances for our needs. Also, the location is excellent - lovely homes, people seem friendly, easy to reach (by car) and very quiet. Canmore is a great town with different neighborhoods and this one is great for travelers not wanting to stay 'downtown.'

Cons: It's expensive, but summer season prices in Canmore are insane, and the Monarch charges a competitive price for what you receive. Also, we had wished that, given the price, breakfast would be included as is standard at a Bed & Breakfast. But we respect the Ogawas' pricing approach.
