Oceanside Manor - Ocean View

I had a great time at Oceanside Manor!

Pros: The house is beautifully located with view of the ocean. My room was very clean, cozy, and had everything I needed. I especially loved the peaceful atmosphere – perfect for relaxing. The hosts were very friendly and served an excellent breakfast. Good to know: in the low season (from October 1st), there’s a extra charge for special breakfast options. The location is ideal – peaceful, yet only a few minutes from restaurants and the beach. I can highly recommend Oceanside Manor – a wonderful place to relax and unwind!

Cons: I stayed in the Ocean Room with a private bathroom across the hall – a motion-sensor night light in the hallway would have been helpful. It also would’ve been nice if, upon check-in, the hosts had explained where the pool, hot tub, and gym are located. The focus was mainly on parking rules, so I didn’t end up using those facilities and didn’t feel comfortable asking afterward.

It’s a great place in a great location with a really nice host. And it has a hot tub.

Pros: It’s a luxurious place. The host went out of her way to accommodate us.

Pros: The bed and pillows were very comfy, and lots of airflow in the room to deal with the summer heat. Breakfast was great, Ladda is an excellent chef. good strong coffee too.

Pros: Great stay in a lovely place. Very friendly hosts, had a good chat. Good breakfast too. Even saw a bear.

Pros: Safe parking, great location, easy access. Perfect breakfast.

Cons: My sole thing that could be improved upon would a hand towel in the ensuite sink in the ocean room.

A pleasant, comfortable, and relaxing place to stay

Pros: The breakfast was very nice and the hosts quite friendly and accommodating. We could choose from several breakfast dishes and beverages and we could choose when to have breakfast. Bed comfort very good. The decorating was modern, to a high standard, and very pleasing, reflecting the nature of the region. Cleanliness was excellent. Each room has its own bathroom and shower, though ours was down the hall. The location was quiet. I recommend this place.

Cons: The pool was too cool for us and the hot tub not really fully usable. Some mobility issues with one of us made the pool and hot tub difficult to use. On the other hand, the hosts are dedicated to improving any aspects where the accommodation falls short.

Pros: Excellent location and very friendly hosts! The room was great with an ocean view. 10/10 would recommend.

I felt safe, welcomed, and treated as a special guest. The hosts were wonderful.

Pros: Each morning the breakfast was personalized to what I would like to eat. The hostess, Lada, is a very good cook. The couple that host guests are friendly and welcoming. We had many interesting conversations. If you don’t mind walking uphill for a ways, everything is within walking distance or a short 5 minute drive. Walking along the beach each day was relaxing. I would definitely recommend this B & B.

Cons: I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I was the only one at the manor in March 2024. The bedrooms share a common bathroom that I didn’t have to share. I feel like it wouldn’t be a problem though.

Great stay in Qualicum beach.

Pros: We liked the breakfast , the room and bathroom, the kindness of the hosts and the location near the waterfront .

Cons: Nothing we didn’t like, I know the house is still a little bit in reno so it will just be better and better.
