We came to enjoy the natural beauty, fresh air, & beaches, and left with our hearts full of joy

Pros: We loved all the breakfast foods and treats - way more than one would expect for a continental breakfast, with homemade jams, bread, butter, fruit, yogurts, and fresh eggs (we couldn't use them all, but it was very much appreciated!) Susan was so helpful with suggestions of where to go, right down to where we should eat the first night before check-in - where we were invited to sit with some locals when there wasn't any more tables left. Great experience! We came for the nature and beaches, and the location of Sea 'N' Stars had the perfect morning walk to the beach, and a park a little further down. Malaspina galleries was incredible, but Drumbeg provincial park was the star of the afternoon. Oh, although we did our best to stay clean and tidy, it was so nice not to worry about it being a requirement to wash everything and take out garbage.

Cons: The breakfast bar at the window could use another support in the middle. I didn't want to rest my elbows on it, as I wasn't sure how much weight it would take.

Pros: EVERYTHING! Perfect spot to look at the stars. Delicious food, comfy bed, beautiful aesthetic and vibe. Amazing.

Cons: Literally nothing - everything was perfect.

Pros: Everything was great! Right from the attention to detail to the amazing breakfasts at your leisure. Susan & Steve were beyond wonderful hosts. We will be back 🙌

Peaceful getaway

Pros: We had a wonderful stay. From the ease of the check in and out, to the wonderful little touches and tasty goodies they provide. We didn't get a chance to meet Steve, but Susan was lovely to chat with. We'll definitely be back the next time we're visiting Gabriola!

A little oceanfront paradise with wonderful hosts!

Pros: The beauty of the island is amazing! Very grateful to Steve & Susan for their kind hearts and care! So many nice little things and different surprises! And that's what makes us happy! The room had everything and even more, Every corner was decorated with love! In the fridge there was a lot of different products for every taste to energize the whole day! We watched whales right from our garden (we also have binoculars in the room) A family of deer came right under the house, While having breakfast we watched hummingbirds! We were happy to stay with Steve & Susan, We would love to come back again!

Pros: The view was amazing from the deck. Lots of wildlife to see. Binoculars provided. You can watch the sunrise on the sea. The owners live in the other part of the building/cabin. They are super friendly, will do anything to make your visit more enjoyable. The breakfast is provided in the fridge and freezer, everything is thought of. Most enjoyable stay. Thank you, would love to come again. Highly recommend

Pros: The check in and check out process was very easy. The hosts- Susan and Steve were easily reachable and ready to help with anything. The property has an amazing view and it is very close to a nice beach. We also appreciated all the breakfast items!

Wonderful Oceanside retreat

Pros: Breakfast selections were great, personal touches by our hosts were very appreciated. We were there in a cooler fall season, and it was really special to sit by a fire overlooking the ocean, making s’mores.

Cons: Honestly can’t think of a thing we would change. Thanks so much to Susan and Steve.

friendly, cosy, welcoming and sweet.

Pros: The breakfast was more than sufficient and the location fabulous—adjacent to a provincial park and right on the waterfront.

Cons: I liked everything except the fact that there was no real working bath. The shower was fine though and everything else was wonderful.

Pros: Lovely, thoughtful touches everywhere. Housecoats, so much breakfast food and treats! Peaceful and quiet.
