Canyon Ridge Lodge

A sweet spot in Golden!

Pros: We had the king bed suite with living room and kitchen. Was quiet, had a mountain view especially from the balcony, and hot tub in the backyard (shared) was awesome! The owners were friendly and helpful. A wonderful stay!

Cons: I would suggest somewhere in the description it be included that there are alot of stairs. They weren't a problem for us but for some folks it would be impossible or at least difficult to get around st this property.

Stunning and so comfortable B & B!

Pros: Beautiful house and garden in a semi-rural area. The room was large, beautifully furnished, huge bed, tea and coffee making facilities and a large shared sitting room. Cat and Paul were genuinely welcoming hosts and the breakfast was great, lots of options and all so fresh. We loved being in their home! Would return without hesitation.

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: We received a warm & friendly Welcome from Kat & Paul to their beautiful home. Our room was well equipped and the bed was very comfortable, we had the added use of a communal lounge, with plenty of hot drinks & also the use of the hot tub. Tasty home cooked breakfast with lots of choice. Kat was very helpful booking the trips to Moraine & Louise for us and also gave us lots of local advice & knowledge.

Cons: You have to take the car into Golden as it's not walkable due to the highway, it's only a 5 minute drive.

Pros: 1 bedroomed apartment within lodge which could easily pass as a permanent residence. Equipt with everything you could need however long yur stay. Met by the lovely Kat who explained everything to us about the accommodation and gave pointers on what to do, where to eat and answered our many questions.

Cons: the short 2 night stay!!

Canyon Ridge Lodge is an outstanding place for enjoyable vacation

Pros: Kat did everything to make our stay outstanding. The breakfast is just great and you get everything what you can think off. The rooms are nicely furnished and the bathrooms are very modern. There are many other items like a washing machine, a big whirlpool, a nice terrace for enjoying a cool beer in the garden. Golden surrounded by three national parks is very good located and offers a variety of shops, restaurants and outdoor activities.

Excellent!

Pros: Great room - high end finish and super comfortable. Impeccably clean. Excellent breakfast with a wide choice of foods catering for all needs and tastes. The host was amazing. She was able to make suggestions of places to visit and how to book, all of which enhanced our holiday.

Brilliant

Pros: Great room, had everything we needed. fantastic kitchen (even had an air fryer). Close to Golden only 5-10 minutes drive. quiet and away from the noise of the trains. Perfect for exploring around Golden and down to kootenay national park
