BANFF WOODS LODGE

Pros: Wonderful place for the money and our host Hank was fantastic and made sure we were comfortable!

Amazing, comfortable stay for a very cheap price.

Pros: The lodge is amazing. It has two big beds in desperate bedrooms and two very comfortable bathrooms (one even has a bathtub). The lodge is very clean and there is more than enough space. We wanted to cook to save some costs, which was easily possible as the kitchen was equipped with all needed cooking utensils and more. It is very clean. For this cheap a price, a steal in my opinion :) Banff is about a 15 minute drive, Lake Louise about 45 minutes and Peyto Lake 1h15m. All very doable by car!

Cons: We found it quite hot in the bedrooms, but didn’t bother to find out if that could be changed. With the windows open it was fine.

Great location to visit Banff with a family group

Pros: The location was great, close to the gate to Banff National Park and to Canmore for grocery stores. There was plenty of space and very clean. Well stocked with dishes, towels, shampoo, paper towel. Comfortable beds. Price lower than Banff properties.

Cons: Was lacking cutlery, we contacted the owner who said it would be restocked.

A Cozy Mountain Getaway at Banff Woods Lodge

Pros: My friends and family stayed at Banff Woods Lodge for 3days and 2nights, and it was absolutely wonderful. Nestled in the heart of nature, the lodge offers a peaceful and cozy atmosphere that truly captures the charm of the mountains. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Banff. We especially loved how quiet and homey the place felt, making it easy to unwind and enjoy quality time as a family. The location is very convenient too, close enough to town and attractions while still giving that serene, tucked-away feeling. Overall, Banff Woods Lodge exceeded our expectations. It’s a great choice for families or anyone looking for a comfortable, value-for-money stay surrounded by beautiful scenery. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others visiting Banff.
