Pros: Excellent position, close to the airport but very quiet area. Excellent hosts; wonderful, home-cooked breakfast and a comfy bed. Brian also collected us from the airport and drove us to collect our hire car the next morning. A super stay!

Cons: Couldn’t fault it.

Pros: We didn't have the breakfast as we had to leave early to catch our plane. However, Brian gave us a pack of muffins and fruit which had a gluten free muffin which was delicious. It was also close to the airport which made our morning easier. The room had a sailor theme which I enjoyed as I am a sailor too. The beds were comfortable also. We especially enjoyed Brian's greeting and explanation of the area and it's changes in the last while. He also had good recommendations for dinner in Steveston which is a great place to explore.

A WONDERFUL welcome to Vancouver and a MOST comfortable stay.

Pros: Brian the proprietor, very kindly collected us from the airport arrivals collection point. He also ordered dinner for us from a nearby take-away. Unfortunately we missed the communal breakfast at 9am due to our early flight, but Brian VERY kindly provide us with delicious muffins and fruit. There are three very well appointed and provisioned rooms around a patio and a pool in a very quiet area of Vancouver, on which Brian is a fund of information. FAR better than staying in an hotel - we STRONGLY recommend this lovely B&B.. .

Cons: I honestly don't think it could have been better. However, there is one room designated the Safari room with a double bed and a marvelous African decor which I might ask to stay in next time.

Pros: Host Brian did an outstanding job, he obviously loves hosting and making his guests feel at home! A superb breakfast, lots of interesting facts, and a lot of laughs are some highlights.

Pros: Brian was the friendliest and most hospitable host I have ever met. The service was outstanding the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. We really appreciated the free pickup from the airport. I wholeheartedly recommend The Stone Hedge to any traveler.

Cons: A minor criticism. There is a high step into the shower/toilet area in the bathroom we used and, as we are two elderly women, we found it very difficult to climb up and down. A handrail attached to the wall would solve the problem.

Stay in an oasis in Richmond.

Pros: The host Brian is a fascinating, larger-the-life reconteur! I enjoyed every minute around him. He also made us a gourmet breakfast served in his beautiful garden.
