A Home from Home Experience in Calgary

Pros: We were made very welcome by Allan. He is very easy and interesting company and was very helpful with suggestions for our excursions. The house is in a nice area with good transport connections. There is a good choice of eating a short distance away on foot. Our bedroom was comfortable if on the small side. The shared washroom was always clean, with a very nice shower. We enjoyed sitting out in the nicely stocked garden. Good value for a city that was at its busiest with visitors.

Cons: Nothing.

Great stay at great location

Pros: Great location with quite neighbors. The host was very kind, and he kept the place very clean and organized. Perfect place for staying to sleep at reasonable price.

Cons: I don't recall anything I didn't like....

Truly ‘a home away from home’!

Pros: More Than Home was just like ‘a home away from home’. Allen was a very hospitable host and gave us great suggestions for places to visit and to eat. The accommodation was comfortable and clean with everything we needed. The home is in a leafy suburban street, close to a large parkland, public transport and a shopping centre. We’ll certainly stay here when next in Calgary.

Cons: Nothing we can think of

Une bonne solution à Calgary en période de Stampede !

Pros: Très bon accueil du propriétaire, malgré tout un peu submergé par l'accueil des hôtes.

Cons: Tout n'était pas d'une parfaite propreté.

Un soggiorno tranquillo in una città meravigliosa

Pros: Il posto molto tranquillo adatto ad una famiglia o ad una coppia. Nella cosiddetta periferia di Calgary, servita molto bene da bus continui e falla metropolitana leggera che attraversa il centro della città tra grattacieli. A pochi minuti di cammino ci sono centri commerciali, bar e tanti ristoranti.

Cons: Sostanzialmente nulla. Però per me, che viaggiavo da solo, il posto è troppo tranquillo, tanto verde, e troppo silenzio

Propiedad tranquila, Ubicación ideal y un magnífico anfitrión.

Pros: Allen es un magnífico anfitrión, muy dispuesto a ofrecerte la mejor atención y las informaciones necesarias. Además habla algo de español y nos recibió dándonos la bienvenida en español. La casa está en una zona tranquila sin ruidos, de fácil acceso para llegar desde el aeropuerto y para salir hacia Banff, lo que hace que sea una ubicación perfecta.

Cons: Creo que todo está bien, la habitación es un poco pequeña, aunque para una noche es suficiente.

Allen is great host, his place feels like home. Would definite recommend it to anyone, specially a female solo traveller

Pros: Great location and safe place. The house felt cozy and bed was super comfortable to sleep on.

I will stay again whenever I go to Banff

Pros: Nice bath, hand towels and wash cloth. Lock on room, beautiful garden and neighborhood, parking, fresh muffins and coffee interesting and kind host.
