Hammond Bay Oceanside Guesthouse

Wonderful!!

Pros: Beautiful view and very comfortabel and very nice decorated accommodation.

Cons: Storage space

Excellent place to stay and, if and when return to Nanaimo, would happily stay again

Pros: Tremendous view. Spacious accommodation. Wildlife viewing (deer, hummingbirds, river otter).

Cons: Very minor complaint: for a short interval, there was not enough hot water.

Wonderful beach vibes

Pros: Great atmosphere. Beautiful place. Sense of privacy. Beach ‘hygge’ (Danish word). Fresh fruit, muffins, cold water etc for us when we arrived.

Cons: The bed was too soft for my wife, it was fine for me :-)

Peaceful stay in a glorious nature-filled suite by the ocean

Pros: Extraordinary location and superbly comfortable facilities

Cons: Stairs to go down to the property

Pros: Extremely clean and very comfortable accommodation. Spectacular sea views. Separate bedroom, living room, and full kitchen

What a Gem!

Pros: Everything...the views, the location, the comfort and ease of the accommodation..we stayed in both accommodations here. Couldn't ask for better. Karen was wonderful, very helpful and did all she could for us. Spotless. Beds a dream of comfort.

Cons: Nothing to dislike...maybe getting out of the driveway was quite tricky as it was fairly steep and the view to the left of traffic approaching was obscured by the neighbours hedge which needs cutting back but that's not the hosts fault and a minor point...you just have to be watchful and take care pulling out.

Pros: The cleanliness, the amazing views, everything was provided right down to candles for the patio and blankets. Karen was lovely too, very helpful. Very comfy beds, super shower, plenty of towels, cutlery, washing up liquid, toiletries. A beautiful place.

Traumhafte Sonnenaufgänge am Strand!

Pros: Wir waren knapp eine Woche zu Besuch. Das Guesthouse hat einen eigenen Strandzugang, welcher die morgendlichen Sonnenaufgänge zu einem Erlebnis macht. Es ist sehr ruhig. Von unseren Nachbarn haben wir nichts mitbekommen. Die Lebensmittel trafen genau unseren Geschmack. Vielen Dank für dieses Erlebnis.

Cons: Uns hat nicht gefallen, dass die Woche leider viel zu schnell vergangen ist.

Pros: Karen ist eine herzliche und sehr hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Die Lage ist top mit einer traumhaften Aussicht und privatem Zugang zum Strand.

A beautiful spacious suite overlooking the ocean fully equipped with anything you might need.

Pros: Wow! This place was so beautiful. My suite looked directly onto the Pacific Ocean, and was so comfortable and tastefully decorated. It was spacious - a separate living room, a separate bedroom, and a separate kitchen. The bathroom had a tub and shower with luxurious towels and body creams and hair products. I just sunk into the super comfortable bed and slept like a baby. The kitchen was stocked with all the sauces and spices you might need, a water cooler, and there was even a barbecue on the patio. I loved curling up in front of the gas fireplace in the living room overlooking the ocean with a book I chose from their bookshelves. The owner was absolutely wonderful and very helpful in every way. It is in one of the loveliest parts of Nanaimo, and I will definitely stay there on a return trip to Nanaimo.
