Chims Cabins - Port Alberni

Pros: The tiny house I stayed in was spotlessly clean, well appointed, and very comfortable. It had probably the thickest and fluffiest towels I have ever seen at a hotel! Host Naomi is very kind and helpful. I stayed only one night, but with the great kitchen facilities, this would be a great place to stay for a longer vacation. Other reviews mention road noise, and you can hear it a little bit, but I didn't find it bad by any means.

Pros: Great brand new space with multiple bedding configuration possibilities. Cabins are brand new with comfortable beds. 5 minutes from downtown port.

Pros: Easily the best hotel stay I've ever had! Naomi was kind, friendly and accommodating, made us feel welcome and right at home. The most comfortable bed, with the best pillows, I have ever slept in away from home!! (I would love to know their secret!) Room was clean, quiet and fully appointed, and bigger than expected! Overall an excellent experience and we'll be back!

Great choice!

Pros: Easy to find, not far out of Port Alberni. Very quiet and our cabin was spotless with lots of space. Well equipped mini kitchen with fridge, microwave, coffee machine, bowls, plates, mugs. Naomi kindly gave us a chopping board and knives. Best to bring own cutlery, which I’d forgotten! Naomi’s advice and knowledge of the area and the drive to Tofino was invaluable. She was so friendly and welcoming. Close to Sproat Lake for safe swimming in an idyllic location.

A great location and facility for a day trip to Pacific Rim National Park.

Pros: Brand new and very clean. Quiet, except for some traffic noise during the day.

Fabulous property!

Pros: This is a pristine property. We stayed in a tiny home. It was immaculately clean, had a very well appointed kitchen, everything worked well. Was super comfortable. Host was incredibly accommodating and helpful. Great place to use as a base to explore Cathedral Grove and Pacific Rim.

Pros: It was amazing! It feels like your own little house. I would recommend Chims guest house to anyone who wants to stay some place very nice, that feels like a home away from home. Staff/Owner was every nice, she told us places to see and eat on our visit. Very nice environment.

Excellent tiny house accommodation!

Pros: Excellent “tiny house” accommodation. We found ourselves needing an extra stopover due to roadworks and this was perfect. Very good accommodation, clean, well equipped. Host couldn’t have been more helpful. Totally recommended

Cons: On a main road and a bit out of town

Pros: Bungalow très bien équipé. Propre et confortable. A mi chemin entre Nanaimo et Tofino avec de nombreuses choses à voir. Naomi nous a chaleureusement reçu et bien renseigné. Netflix et Wifi disponible. Machine et séchoir pour sa lessive disponible.
