Liahona Guest House

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay here. The sauna was delightful with a view of the estuary and forest. Our suite was nicely decorated and super clean! It was a calm, quiet space with a beautiful view, and the caretaker, Josie, was lovely and very helpful. We appreciated the kitchenette and it was well-provisioned with appliances and dishes. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Cons: A few wall hooks would be helpful to hang extra items easily like the dishcloth and t-towel.

Pros: Clean, beautiful, amenities, sauna, fridge, microwave, snacks. Sink. Deep tub. Close to many things. Beautiful area.

Cons: Everything was great. Maybe a hot plate, pullout couch for one extra person maybe.

Lovely place we hope to return to and will recommend to friends and family!

Pros: Very nice complimentary snack pack. Sauna was lovely. Scenery was beautiful and it was interesting that the “pond” out front came & went with the tide. Host was very pleasant and even brought us ice cubes as requested.

Cons: Less rain would’ve been great but we got the weather we were expecting as we came there in January! 😉

Excellent place to stay

Pros: We loved the room. The room was on bottom floor, so no stairs. We were next to the sauna which we used several times during the weekend and had it all to ourselves each time even though the place was sold out. We had a beautiful view of the estuary. The staff were excellent and promptly replied to my messages if any issues arise.

Cons: The coffee machine was a French press, which worked great for that first cup of coffee to get you going in the morning before venturing out for a really good coffee.

Pros: The suite was very clean & well stocked. The sauna was fantastic, just right for a couple. The B&B is located next to a beautiful estuary.

Liahona

Pros: Clean, comfortable, quiet - fun to watch the birds in the tidal inlet in front of the house.

Cons: Nothing.

Relax and unwind

Pros: It is such a gorgeous location! Spotlessly clean, comfortable and the sauna instructions were great. It is a lovely spot to unwind and relax. Could have stayed for another week and would happily book again.

Cons: Very mildly could hear the neighbours. Did not bother us in the slightest, however it might be worthwhile for other people to know.

Such a enchanting escape!
