Pros: What I liked the most was the host’s hospitality and care, the very comfortable rooms, an amazing rug, and extremely clean accommodations. However, it’s important to note that this is a shared house, which was not a problem for us, but it’s good to be aware of this.

Excellent value , short drive to airport, extremely clean and comfortable, incredibly kind hosts
Pros: It was lovely, the place was extremely clean and so comfortable, the beds were fantastic with beautiful 100% linen night thread count, the carpet was luxurious, the place is easy to access, small considerate acts of kindness from bottled water to snacks, tree filled location, shower excellent, the hosts were exceptionally kind and went out of their way for us re our check out time , and in providing options to make things easier for us re our luggage etc and a ride to the airport . Very considerate and kind people. We would recommend this place. They will give you all the space and privacy you want or need, at the same time offer you any info or support. Great value for money.
Cons: As above close to airport, nice part of. Vancouver we should have Walked from this place to the Golf club cafe , instead of catching an uber to find breakfast at the Granville Island Market , would have been a better option, better value. I should have asked our host about this.

A clean, comfortable, and perfectly located home with an exceptionally kind and helpful host — high
Pros: We had an excellent stay at The McCleery Inn. The house was spotless, comfortable, and very well-equipped. The location was perfect — quiet, safe, and convenient for getting around the city. Most importantly, the host was exceptionally kind and understanding. They were very supportive and flexible with our travel schedule, which made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. We truly appreciated their hospitality and attention to detail. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Vancouver!
Cons: Everything was great — there’s really nothing we didn’t like.

Cozy and comfortable
Pros: Sheldon and Eileen were wonderful hosts. Sheldon picked us up from the Airport and it was all super easy and uncomplicated. He then even drove us to a supermarket so we could pick up groceries. Also, he had prepared some cakes for us to eat and brought us bacon and eggs in the morning. The place is really comfortable and we would want to go back there if we end up in Vancouver again. Can definitely recommend.
Cons: There is no stove in the place, but a rice cooker and a grill. For us it was perfectly fine but if you plan for a longer stay you might want to consider that. Sheldon is planning to integrate a full kitchen though, so make sure to get in touch with him since the place is reallly worth it.

Brilliant.
Pros: The owners are amazing. So helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The bathroom had a leak from above while we were there and the owners were so apologetic and did absolutely everything to make it right. They also picked us up from the airport and gave us a lift to get our hire car. They couldn't have done anything more.
Cons: I can't really think of anything.

Home Away from home
Pros: We stayed at The McCleery Inn for 4 nights, then went on a 2 week Alaska Cruise and returned to The McCleery Inn for 1 night. Our hosts, Sheldon and Eileen were very accommodative, she showed us with meals and offered to make breakfast, which was such a sweet gesture, she drove us to the grocery store. Incredibly helpful, kind, genuine.

A True Home Away from Home – The McCleery Inn
Pros: We had the absolute pleasure of staying at The McCleery Inn for 4 nights, and it truly felt like a home away from home. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our gracious hosts, Sheldon and Eileen, who have clearly poured their hearts into creating an exceptional guest experience.
