Fab ! Once I settled in. Incredible location for an amazingly inexpensive price.

Its a hostel type place with a friendly helpful staff.

Pros: Great staff. Meet new people. Proximity to main street. Spaces to hang out. No TV.

Cons: All great for the price.

Great place to stay in beautiful Nelson

Pros: The entire place was spotless, one of the cleanest hostels I've ever stayed at. Cindy was lovely and welcoming on arrival. The building has wonderful old charm and character. The shops were filled with lots of organic, natural, locally handmade goodies.

Would stay here again.

Pros: Convenient location for where we needed to be at a good price. Staff were very friendly and helpful when we had to extend our stay.

Cons: We finished our task early and would have liked to have headed out on the road the same day as we had a long trip to make, but were told it was too late to cancel our last night, so ended up staying and being held up by all the road closures.

Pros: I love this place. I'm a repeat customer. The location is great, the beds are comfortable, the staff is very friendly and the place is clean

Pros: Lovely, clean hostel in perfect Nelson location. Staff and facilities all excellent.

Cons: Visitors should be aware that the hours the Reception is closed also means the hostel itself is locked to non-guests. ie: if you're arriving a few hours before check-in time and hoping to ditch your bags, this won't be possible. Staff are super helpful and I'm sure would try to accommodate if given enough notice, but I reached out two days before arrival and didn't receive a response. I checked out in the morning, but I imagine you might have a similar issue if wanting to leave bags after checkout. Bag storage is typically one of the benefits of staying in a hostel/hotel rather than an AirBnb, so if there was a better way to accommodate this, that would be fabulous! Otherwise an excellent place.
