Comfortable and very good value

Pros: Lovely big room with a huge bed and lovely natural soap, shampoo etc. I checked in after hours and the key/room was easy to find, very pleasant lady on check out next morning.

Cons: The room was boiling hot and the thermostat didn’t seem to work. There was a fan in the room, so perhaps it’s a known issue, so I had to have that on all night despite -15 degrees outside!

Value for money

Pros: Although older it was pristine clean, bed's were superb as was the linen. Shower old but really good. Ton's of tv channels . Staff were great in reception , cleaners and pub. Location 2nd to none inc bring right by the free buses, and ant 100 ft from their great pub

Excellent value, great bed

Pros: Beautiful view of the mountains and great location for walking Canmore. Easy check in, convenient parking and very comfortable bed. Exceeded my expectation for a budget accommodation. Hotel desk atttendant (Kylie?) was very pleasant

A good place to stay

Pros: The staff is so nice they make you feel that we are so welcome and they are happy to see us! Very customer oriented people!

New and improved

Pros: The renovation is great and promises even more. Excellent new menu, food was delicious, great band playing, loved the working firebplace

Cons: I believe the new restaurant/lounge would benefit from having a great breakfast and not sure about the Retriever.

Pros: Great location, friendly staff, nice bar. Room next to the creek was great.

Cons: Canmore is an expensive place to stay. This room was $233 /night american in the end of September and this would be an $80 room in the states.

Above Expectations

Pros: Staff was really nice and helpful. They upgraded our room with no extra cost because we were traveling with a toddler, so they were concerned about the noise and gave us a more quiet room.
