The Vista Inn

Pros: It's an older building that is very well maintained. Staff were very nice, professional, very pleasant.

Great value for the money

Pros: Room had a great view of the river and the north shore. Check in was speedy and the staff were very friendly. a basic continental breakfast was included. Room was clean, had a mircowave, fridge, toiletries, coffee maker. Conveniently, there is a great indian restaurant right next door.

Cons: Shower needed a diveter... had to run in a circle to get wet.

Pros: Great location, spacious room. View was a bonus. Had to check out early.

Great Value

Pros: Price is right and the place is clean. The heat didn't work as far as I could tell but it was fine. Bed was comfortable with 4 softish pillows. View is lovely.

Cons: Could use thicker curtains. There was a bright light outside the window and it didn't get dark in the room. The free breakfast is either some sugar, or different sugar. Needs a protein.

Pros: Everything was good except one request wasn't granted.

Cons: When I called the reception to request for condiments ( i was willing to give a tip) yet a lady told me to get the condiments at the front desk myseld while we're actually getting ready to eat dinner was very inconvenient. I guess they are not willing to give us a good service. They want their guest to come to them when they need something.. It wasn't rude but it wasn't nice either.

it was a comfortable and a calm stay experience.

Pros: The stay was excellent. I liked that the hotel had a nice viewpoint and also that they give free muffins and snacks in the morning for the guests. The staffs were really friendly especially Shruti the receptionist who had helped with my stay and made sure I was comfortable and had helped me get to know more about Kamloops since it was my first time here. Overall it was a great experience.

Cons: Since it is winter I guess every should have a kettle in it rather going to the reception to ask for it and some toiletries like the toothbrush, toothpaste and a soap. That's it other than that everything else is great.

Pros: The front reception staff was so kind and helpful.

Clean room, nice staff

Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful and they were very accommodating on late check ins. I was happy with the price (including 25 extra for pets). Nice clean room.

Pros: This was a great place to stay with a great location, easy access to downtown Kamloops. The room I stayed in was nice and quiet.

Cons: I feel there should be in the room for guests as in; microwave, tea, regular sized mugs, glasses. There was actually no access to ice.. as for the cleanliness, it was fine, however could be better. I must say I used to be a quality auditor for cleanliness in hospitals so I can see what most can't. More attention to dust in tvs baseboards, door frames and edges of floor in bathroom.

Pros: The front desk staff were all very nice, especially the manager.
