Valley Star Motel

Pros: Staff friendly, everything clean, pool lovely, BBQ area great with tables under gazebo for shade. Close to beach.

Comfortable and.relaxing stay.

Pros: Nice room with a sepatate bedroom and a full kitchen, very well-equipped. Clean, recently refurbished, comfortable bed. 5 minute walk from Skaha beach. The outside tables and bbq area are great to relax in the evening.

Cons: The A/C was a little.noisy and the motel is beside a reasonably busy road, so there was some noise. Not really bothersome, though, and traffic dies right down after about 8-9 pm.

perfect vacation stay

Pros: Super friendly reception and staff. The room and bathroom very very clean. The place was very comfortable and well furnished and apportioned. Very close to a beautiful beach and park. I will certainly book this place again and recommend it to friends and family.

Pros: Loved the location. Loved the new barbecues for use by residents. Very friendly atmosphere..

Pros: There was no breakfast. The location was excellent - close to the areas the I wanted to visit, shopping was near by, and several restaurants were within an easy commute.

Cons: It was all good.

Pros: The owner she is absolutely wonderful. So friendly, kind and helpful. 🧡

Cons: There is really nothing I can say that I didn't like , except they don't have breakfast

Great place to stay when enjoying the outdoors! Extra close to shaka bluffs

Pros: The motel is charming but modern, the room was exactly as described. Everything was very comfortable and clean, with all the room amenities as heating/AC, hairdryer, coffe maker and even small fridge with freezer (not your usual 1 foot tall minifridge). The bed was VERY comfortable which is great after a long day enjoying ther outdoors. I was really taken by the garden area in the middle, so welcoming!! Walking distance to the lake and very close to several eating spots, and extra close to Shaka Bluffs! I'll definitely come back next time I stay in the area.

Cons: The water pressure in the shower could be better it was on the weaker side. I wish there was an extra pillow on the bed as I like to stack them and there were only 3 pillows for 2 of us but I did not reach out to request one was very tired and just fell asleep. The person that checked us in was very nice and I'm sure I could have gotten an extra pillow if I'd requested it!

Beautiful little gem of a motel.

Pros: Loved the communal outside area in the middle of the grounds. Lovely gazebos and seating areas. The decor and gardens were kept very well. The pool was a very welcome treat. The owners and staff were fab. Loved the location and being able to walk to the beach and dragon boat inn.

Cons: We loved staying here, the only thing that would have made it perfect was having the TV in a place where you could watch it more comfortably i.e. not having to sit on the beds, ouyr cram the dining chairs into the gap between the beds.

Pros: Great location. Easy assess to Skaha Lake, restaurants, groceries. Staff very welcoming!

Clean, comfortable and great value for your dollar.

Pros: The location is great, right beside a very good sushi/ramen restaurant and pizza place. Minutes away from the Skaha beach, only a few minutes drive to Skaha Bluffs if you enjoy hiking. The check-in was easy, the host was very kind and accommodating.

Cons: No complaints
