Excellent location, very friendly and accommodating at checkin and throughout our stay. Comfortable.
Pros: Order taken in timely manner, friendly & accommodating staff. Very handy to have a breakfast option on site to our motel. Other restaurants very close by in area for supper, and a convenience store a handy walk away.

Good place to use as a base to explore the area.
Pros: Motel is well maintained and very convenient to the town and area. Could easily walk to the harbour, restaurants and businesses.
Cons: Parking is limited and can be a challenge, but traffic is not very busy so street parking is possible.

Haida Gwaii good value
Pros: Beautiful setting on Skidegate Inlet. Clean, simple, comfortable and welcoming. Good value for Haida Gwaii and 10 minutes from the ferry. Motel offers 50 CAD late check out if you're taking the 10:00 pm ferry. Will stay again.
Cons: Dated but refurbished, parking at Motel limited, you maybe across the road. The standard double was a small twin, no microwave as usual in a motel at this price,only a coffee maker and fridge. A kettle was provided on request and Twinnings Earl Grey tea.

Very happy with our accommodation - both price wise and its location for exploring Haida Gwaii!!
Pros: The location was perfect; a short drive from the ferry and a couple of minutes walk to the Tourism Info Centre - which was located near the water with a nice green-area and a paved walking trail around the nearby school field. There were also both a large and a small grocery store in the same area, as well as a couple of restaurants - and others within a short drive. The motel has its own restaurant which we used for breakfast and several other meals because it was convenient. Considering this is a motel, it was quiet in the evenings. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating!!
Cons: Although the restaurant menu was good, we wish it would have included some local type dishes (none of the restaurants appeared to offer local dishes ...). Although the room had a good-size kitchen, a larger counter would have had better space for the cook-top (placed below when not in use), and a larger table would be preferred since the microwave took up half of it. The parking was a bit tight - along the front of the motel, but more parking was possible off the side street to the Info Centre.

A clean, comfortable stay. New beds!
Pros: This is a family owned business and they are working hard to make everyone comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. They have ripped out all the old carpets from the 1970’s, and replaced it with laminate. The room smelled fresh and clean.
Cons: My room didn’t have a view and was a little small, but this wouldn’t stop me from staying there again. I like how they have planted flowers and shrubs to make the place look good!

Great Motel, Lovely People
Pros: Great location close to shops and restaurants and across the street from the waterfront. The staff are all super friendly. I appreciated the unlimited supply of coffee! I chose the budget room and at first was a little sad as I didn't have a front facing window or outside seating, however quickly realized that it made it a quieter room and didn't regret my choice.
Cons: The parking is quite small and not easy to negotiate in a larger car - there was also street parking so this was fine in the end. The price is steep for what it is but I suppose Haida Gwaii is a hot spot these days so it's to be expected.
