Pros: Stunning views. Great restaurant, the food and staff were exceptional. The bus driver who picked us up was very friendly, made us feel welcome from the start.

Honeymoon number 2 (32 years later)!

Pros: Loved the quiet, the comfort, the cleanliness and the fire! Also loved the snowblown path around the lake! So nice that the walk was so easy even though it took a while. Beautiful scenery.

Cons: Just one thing. We went for breakfast without packing first. When we got back, the cleaning staff had already entered our room (around 10), even though checkout time was at 11. An isolated mistake, hopefully.

A Fairytale Stay in Winter

Pros: The lodge is so beautiful and the food is 10/10. We visited here in 2014 and couldn't wait to come back. The cabins are fabulous, however the bathrooms need a makeover. We love the fireplaces in the cabins, it's makes it so cosy.

Amazing views with a cosy room and friendly staff

Pros: We had the most amazing stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was so comfy and the fire place made it even cosier but what makes it so special is the location! The most beautiful place and being able to sit in the hot tub with the Mountain View whilst the sun set over the snowy Mountain View and lake was truly magical!

Beautiful Lodge in the most stunning location.

Pros: Emerald Lake Lodge is in a stunning location, with the beautiful mountains around & emerald colored water of the lake. The cabin with an open fire, historic lodge & mount burgess dining room all had a classic comfy friendly feel to it. The staff were great & welcoming.

Cons: That we didn't stay longer that our 2 nights.

Fantastic mountain lodge in stunning location right on Emerald Lake.

Pros: We had a large ,private room in a shared cabin, which is really like a mini hotel. Each room has a balcony and we could see the lake through the trees. The beds were comfortable, the rooms warm. The location is just superb, right on the lake. We walked around it one day, about 5km, and had breath taking, snowy views all around. The staff are excellent. Our dinners each night, although expensive, were delicious and beautifully prepared.

Cons: It would have been nice to have our adult daughter’s room near us, but we managed. It’s a bit tricky getting heavy suitcases up and down stairs up to the main lodge, although the staff did offer to help us. It can be very slippy in the winter, but they work hard to keep the walkways and stairs shovelled. A mini fridge would have been nice. As it was, we left our perishable food from our previous chalet stay on the balcony to keep it cold. An animal or bird stole everything or tore apart what it didn’t want! Didn’t bother us, it was funny, but a fridge would have been nice.

Pros: Everything was perfect. The room has a rustic cozy charm which we loved and the view was amazing ! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The lounge very warm and comfortable to hang out.

Stunning Location

Pros: The wood fireplace was great. The main reception building is very comfortable and is teh only place with wifi access. The restaurant was also pretty good, for breakfast and dinner. The location is the winner, nothing comes close to your surrounding landscape.

Cons: because of the wood fireplace, the room is a bit smoky smelling. The rest of the room and bathroom is quite dated. it could do with some serious modernization, especially considering the nightly cost.

Another amazing adventure at Emerald Lake Lodge 💚

Pros: We enjoy staying at the lake, as we have more time to enjoy the beauty after hours, when day tourists have gone. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Supper was amazing at the Burgess Dining Room.

Cons: Time goes by too quickly here!

Great location and beautiful views

Pros: The stuffs are very friendly and helpful. They helped us for choosing hiking trails nearby. The dinners at the Mount Burgess were delicious. The hottub is good place to relax after hiking.
