Glacier Lodge Steps to Trails and Nature

Thank you for a lovely stay in a lovely accommodation!

Pros: The location was excellent. We enjoyed the Indigenous cultural centre, just steps away, and the Audain Art museum a few blocks away. The food was excellent - breakfast at Provisions and supper at Portobella less than 120 meters away. The view from our bedroom and living room was of the beautifully lit Fairmount and Four Seasons across the street with a Whistler, Blackcomb mountain backdrop. The high/cathedral ceiling in the dining/living room gave a feeling of serene, cozy, expansiveness. The bed was super comfortable and we kept the thermostat turned down otherwise we would have become too warm. The pool and hot tub were delightful. We enjoyed these amenities over the supper hour when it seemed to empty out and we had the pools almost to ourselves. The front staff are friendly, helpful and courteous. We had a wonderful weekend in Whistler and these facilities were perfect for us. Thank you.

Cons: This is very minor but I thought there was the additional convenience of a washing machine in the unit but there was a general coin operated laundry facility on the floor. We would have enjoyed several nespresso coffee pods for the nespresso maker in the kitchen, had they been provided.

Pros: Great lay-out for several different people or different couples. Lots of extra blankets and pillows. Well stocked of dry-goods supplies.

Pros: Sehr gemütliche und saubere Unterkunft im Upper Village. Die Lage war hervorragend.

Pros: Logement plus spacieux que sur les photos . Assez de place pour 2 adultes et 3 enfants de 8 à 12 ans . Tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner . Durant les deux jours nous n'avons pas pris la voiture ,tout peut se faire à pied !

Cons: Personnel à l'accueil pas toujours très aimable , on a l'impression de déranger . Bien payer le parking à l'avance ,nous avions pas compris et on a payé une amende de 75 CAD!

comfortabel en compleet appartement

Pros: Zeer comfortabel en sfeervol appartement, goed en ruimschoots geoutilleerd. Balkonnetje (op het Noorden). Check bij binnenkomst meteen of de fire place in de basis aan staat. Die geeft extra warmte en een goede sfeer. Locatie prettig en gelukkig ver van de vele erg lawaaiige cafes met terrasmuziek. Dorp en bus goed te belopen. Ook genoeg horeca vlakbij als je niet naar het centrum wilt lopen. Zwembad en hottub goed. Receptiemedewerkers Glaciers Lodge efficiënt en vriendelijk.

Cons: De fire place had ingeschakeld moeten zijn vóor verhuur in een kouder seizoen. Check dus meteen of hij in de basis aan staat. Receptie kan/mag niet helpen, dus dag wachten op iemand van onderhoud. Met de fire place werkend is de temperatuur veel fijner en het geeft een goede sfeer. Vreemd - en vervelend - is dat de creditcard reservering voor eventuele schade 4 (!) dagen na vertrek nog niet opgeheven is. Als gast heb ik geen controle op wat er in de afgelopen vier dagen (of worden het er nog meer?) met het appartement is gebeurd terwijl ik het netjes achter laat. Controle appartement en opheffen schadereservering moeten direct na uitchecken geregeld worden.

Pros: The apartment was fab! So much space, very clean and well looked after and in a great area very close to the centre of Whistler

Pros: A nice comfortable size for our family of 5 (5 adults/teenagers). The loft was neat and the decor. Close walking distance to the village and restaurants

Cons: A few minor things look a bit tired or need attention…for example the toilet paper holder needs to be screwed in as it pops off when changing the roll. Some wearing on the trims and mouldings, but otherwise very nice place to stay! Parking adds up at $20 per day
