Higgin's Inn

Pros: We were upgraded to the Penthouse suite, which was amazing! However, all the suites are beautiful, comfy, spacious, and homey. Hosts were welcoming and a pleasure to meet. Lovely walk to the beach with beautiful round rocks. Short drive to Powell River. However, we ordered in our dinners as location was so wonderful! Salt and Pepper Pizza place, delicious! We sure could have stayed longer!

Cons: Can't think of anything!

Looking forward to come back and explore the area more.

Pros: Quiet and friendly staff. Lovely older location. Definitely will come back . Deck was amazing ate outside and the kids liked the outside bed they thought it was a nice part.

Cons: Nothing. It was an older place and we liked that part it was nicely done.

The host's excellent hospitality made us feel very welcome.

Pros: The host was very helpful in providing rides from the airport and into town, as well as other kitchen items for our room.

We really enjoyed our stay and had our first taste of a fresh fig off your tree.

Pros: no breakfast but fully outfitted kitchen as expected.

Cons: bedding was adequate and clean. An upgrade of the pillows and extra blanket for the cool nights would be good additions. These are just minor offerings as we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. We stayed in the accessibility room which was perfect as we traveled with an elderly relative that uses a wheeled walker.

Pros: The size . How it was full supplied. Most of all how accomadating and helpful and friendly the owners were.

A cozy, clean and family friendly place to stay that my kids really want to go back to!

Pros: The hosts were very friendly and committed to making our stay as enjoyable as possible. The kids had a blast jumping on the trampoline, eating berries from the garden and playing with some toy cars the owner shared with us. We were able to do some laundry and enjoy all our meals outside on the sunny deck. The beach was a short walk away and was really nice, very warm and sandy when they tide comes in (it's a bit like quick sand when the tide is going out). A great get away for families!

Fabulous

Pros: Beautiful setting and very close to a fabulous beach. It is a wonderful place for children with a trampoline, hidden gems in the yard for the little ones and a great fish pond.

Cons: Nothing not to like.

Pros: The details on everything were exquisite. We could tell this place was built with love. The location was a short walk to the beach and super quiet, and the host was very friendly.

Just fantastic.

Pros: Great stay for our family of 7, 3 generations, in the top 3 bedroom suite. Fully equipped kitchen, large rooms, beautiful deck over looking the ocean. We loved the hanging king size bed/day bed on the deck, and we stay in it for hours reading/web surfing listing to the ocean waves. 1 block away from a fantastic beach with large stretch of sand during low tide. Great swimming spot. Mr. Higgins / Rob is warm, courteous, goes out of his way to accommodate us. Our youngest enjoyed playing with the dog and feeding the fish and cats. Laundry on site can be used by guests. This is our second year. Love this inn for our family.
