Manna House

Peaceful.

Pros: Everything was so very well thought out with the customer in mind. We were there for piece an quiet and it was! Great seating patio on our suite with private hot tub and plunge pool...heaven! There's a path down to the beach on other side of road. Lots of seats down there and you can explore for as long as you want. It is not a sand beach more a rock shale shoreline. I saw otters as I walked it. Lovely place I would recommend...

Pros: Great quiet location with easy access to beach. Our room was lovely and clean with a nice view. The private hot-tub/cold plunge was a nice touch and was enjoyed.

Cons: No window coverings on East facing windows made for an early rise.

Pros: We did not have breakfast in the apartment. The location is good

Cons: I hope the host could introduce more about the island and remind us there are two different ferries there.

The holiday of my dreams. Total tranquility.

Pros: Everything was perfect. The accommodation was of a high standard with lovely extras outside - hot tub, hammock, garden chairs & table. The views are spectacular.

Cons: Nothing.

Loved this cozy well thought out spot.

Pros: The hottub was fantastic . The space was well equipped and we could see the sunrise from the bed.

A True Getaway

Pros: Very much enjoyed the landscape around the unit, the view from the table, magnificent. I would love to wake up there every morning for at least a week. The walk down to the beach and the outdoor sauna is incredible, couldn't think of staying anywhere else.

Cons: I did not have the time to fully appreciate it, so I have to come back.

Our Manna House stay checked off so many boxes, with a few minor suggestions.

Pros: The Owner was highly attentive and available when needed. We absolutely felt that he cared about the space. We sincerely appreciated the flexibility in rescheduling several of the amenities that we had booked, often at a moments notice. The check in process is thorough, with detailed explanations of how everything worked and the house rules. The property is quiet, which was what we were looking for. The decor is modern and clean and the use of space is exceptionally good. The hot tub, with essential oils and cold plunge, were a treat that was enjoyed both nights. The sauna at the beach provided a unique experience and we would recommend it to everyone.

Cons: There could be more options for morning coffee (accompaniments). We did not bring a coffee creamer with us when we arrived on Saturday and the General Store was closed. Most people who are staying two nights do not want to buy a container of creamer, so even powdered creamer would have sufficed. The bike broke half way into the ride and it was difficult to get it back to the house but the Owner was very apologetic. He offered to pick me up, however there was limited cell service where I was (6 km down a gravel road). A paper handout with house rules would be beneficial. Maps, guides etc to local places would also be useful as a) visitor centres (if open) have limited hours in small communities and b) those of us who are seeking a \

Pros: Everything was amazing the room was so well kitted out with the personal hot tub and the private beach so close by. Mark was attentive and great communicator, he really made our stay magical. Only regret was not staying here longer. Would recommend this place to anyone, a little paradise getaway! 11/10!!!

Special boutique gulf island spa retreat experience.

Pros: Everything about the suite was comfortable, and the extras (view, private yard, hammock, private hot tub and cold plunge tub, steps away from the massage room and infrared sauna, and steps from the beach) was amazing.

Cons: Nothing to not like.

We highly recommend this place for a peaceful stay.

Pros: We enjoyed our two nights at this lovely location very much. Everything we needed was there, and everything was immaculately clean. It is tastefully furnished with many charming details, and it was quiet and very relaxing. Mark is very friendly and nice, and gave us clear instructions about all the amenities around and about the place. The sauna on the beach was a fantastic experience.
