Newly Renovated 1 Bedroom Condo in Japantown! Near Gastown & Railtown!

Would highly recommend this property, it is in proximity to lots of services and Downtown.

Pros: The apartment was very spacious, modern and clean. It had everything we needed for our stay!

Pros: The apartment was clean, modern, and comfortable, and everything functioned as expected. It was well equipped and suited our stay very well overall. The building does not have an elevator and the dryer was a bit slow, but these were minor inconveniences and did not significantly affect the experience.

Cons: The host does include a detailed disclaimer about the neighborhood, which I appreciated. However, in practice, the issues described were more prevalent and impactful than the description suggests. Noise and visible street activity, including homelessness and drug use, were more frequent and noticeable, and had a greater effect on the stay than expected. While the apartment itself was clean and well maintained, future guests should be aware that the surrounding environment may be more challenging than the listing implies.

Pros: The accommodation looks just like in the photos. Everything needed for a comfortable stay was provided, from a microwave to a washing machine. The location is also within walking distance of various attractions and the station. Additionally, the host provided clear and timely information.

Cons: The host informed me well in advance about the neighborhood, but in practice — especially in the evening — it remains quite confronting (due to the smell and loud music during the evening hours). Additionally, it might be helpful to mention that there is no elevator in the accommodation

Great apartment, but not in the best part of town.

Pros: Nice, clean and tidy apartment. Reasonably close to Downtown Vancouver. Great communication from the host.

Cons: The neighbourhood wasn't pleasant. Lots of drug addicts/homeless people in the area.

I enjoyed my stay at the lovely apartment

Pros: The room was very comfortable. It had all we needed for a conducive 3-night stay. The staff were also really helpful in getting us situated.

Cons: Not that I didn't like per se. But I had read a lot of past reviews about how horrible the neighborhood was. And yes, it was bad, but not all that bad. We felt safe in the apartment, and even walking down the street was safe. No doubt it looked sketchy, but it is the reality of downtown in most cities in the country. The host also shared a disclaimer of what the neighborhood was like, so that prepared our minds. If you don't have the stomach for it, then maybe consider other options.

Lovely appartment with everything you need, the area not good though

Pros: Accommodation was lovely, clean spacious and had everything you needed. Felt very safe when in the apartment

Cons: Aircon was not big enough for the job. The location is not good, the homeless drug problem on the road below is really upsetting but to be fair the host does warn you about this before you arrive. We never felt it was unsafe it was just unsettling and I would recommend never taking child or the faint hearted there.

perfect!

Pros: Convenient location and very well maintained place. The ambience was also very peaceful and pleasing. The kitchen was also well put together and we could cook simple meals after our day out, which was very nice! Also, having a washer and dryer to do your laundry while you are travelling adds to the experience.

Cons: The unit was really nice. The neighbourhood is a little sketchy but that's no fault of the owner's. I strongly recommend the space they have.

Cons: 周辺の雰囲気は良くないので、警戒は必要。私自身は滞在中何の問題もなかった。
