Excellent place “on the edge” of safe Vancouver.
Pros: Fantastic views, very well equipped- and with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms perfect for us (family of 5)
Cons: The streets turn grim at night. Although the entrance of the building is fine, the park next to it attracts lots of homeless drug addicts.

Lovely, comfortable apartment in Chinatown.
Pros: Lovely apartment near chinatown. Very well presented, and just as described in pictures. Lovely balcony up on the 17th floor. Great facilities in the apartment. Very easy access and responsive hosts. Air conditioning available for the hot summer. A very comfortable stay. Close to chinatown and restaurants there and a fantastic chinese supermarket nearby.
Cons: Chinatown is next to east hastings area where the homeless people in Vancouver are located and everynow and then, we saw signs of spillover, but we felt safe and were never threatened, the apartment block had good security features, and it did not affect us or our enjoyment of the apartment, but we were not aware of the Vancouver social policy and impact on the local area before staying there.

Pros: Very comfortable space. Good instructions made it easy. Loved the views from the windows and balcony. Close to shopping and coffee shop and convenient to port.
Cons: My only complaint was that all of downtown Vancouver is a little shabby.

Pros: Excellent location! A super market is right around the corner, and if you like dim sum, China town is within walking distance. You can also walk to the famous gas clock as well as Harbor Tower Center to have a sky view of Vancouver Harbor ($19/person).
Cons: The parking instructions could be better. The parking instructions specify that turn right after getting inside the gate but there is a no right turn sign on the top. We didn’t make the right turn immediately, so we spent some time to look for the parking spot. And also, the toilet flush was not very good. The owner should specify that do not throw any toilet paper in the toilet. I didn’t know the first time I used the toilet, ended up toilet was stuck. It was gross!
