Clean, communicative hosts in a great location

Pros: The location is awesome with a 5 minute walk from pretty much anything you want to do. The city view is stunning, especially at night. The building is also ultra-secure, so I never felt at risk of having my room broken into even in the middle of downtown near Hastings. The apartment was clean and quiet – you could barely tell you had any neighbors unless you ran into someone in the elevator or lobby.

Cons: The extra singe beds were pretty hard and in claustrophobia-inducing dens, so we opted to use the sofa bed instead. The parking lot is very tight and confusing to navigate. I also don’t know how I would have gotten out of the building when leaving had I been traveling alone since you need your key fob to navigate absolutely everything, including the elevator.

Will be my first choice next time I’m in Vancouver for a night.

Pros: Excellent location if you are in town for one night for a show/sporting event. Simple, clean venue. Lots of natural light. Host gave excellent directions for key pick up, parking access etc.

Cons: I don’t mind city noises at night at all, but if you struggle to sleep with mild city noises bring earplugs. :)
