Sungate on Salt Spring - Luxurious Suite with Cedar Hot Tub & View

A very relaxing tucked away retreat. One of the best stays ive ever had

Pros: The lay out was lovely. The hot tub and the onsen was gorgeous trip up the hill past the chickens. Very lovely view and felt secluded and private.

We loved our stay and would highly recommend it.

Pros: This property shows pride of ownership. The attention to details was outstanding both inside the accommodation and outside on the property. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the amenities.

Lovely room but not a bed and breakfast

Pros: Lovely room, TV works, microwave and fridge excellent, lovely shower and nice and warm. Good internet.

Cons: There isn’t really a breakfast. There wasnt enough milk for cereal and coffee and only supplies for 1 night although we were there for 3. No way to contact hosts. We didn’t see them till we were leaving. No cell phone reception.

Pros: Everything! From the booking process to the end it was fantastic. The hosts are so kind, welcoming, and helpful and make sure you have everything you need to have a wonderful stay. The room was spacious, clean, and modern and a beautiful bathroom. The bed was comfortable, hot tub with stunning views, snacks/breakfast food provided, and only a 5 minute drive from Ganges. Highly recommend!

Cons: The only thing was that the AC didn't work- didn't think we'd need it but after having the heat on during the day it was a bit too hot at night 😅 not a major issue though.

Pros: The cottage is lovely and we love, love, love the onsen! Feeding the chickens is always fun, too!

Perfect peaceful stay on Salt Spring Island.

Pros: The cabin was spacious and well stocked. The breakfast included local granola which was amazing. The walking trail out the door of the cabin was a pleasant walk and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing. It was easy to check-in and I would go back to this place again.

Beautiful property with thoughtful touches

Pros: We loved or 2 night stay here. There are so many thoughtful features on the property, the suite is well provisioned with kitchen supplies (tea, coffee, breakfast fixings), and we appreciated the hot tub after a day of hiking and touring. The property has numerous quiet places sit, enjoy the garden or just contemplate on the deck.

Pros: The best stay we’ve had ! The amenities, the onsen, the location - everything was perfect 🫶🏻 lovey little touches with the seasonal pumpkins and popcorn will be highly recommending this place to everyone !

Pros: The temperature was comfortable The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was immaculately clean. The towels were very soft. The coffee was great. The chocolate treat was yummy. Overall the attention to detail was superb. I loved the chickens! The onsen was something else... would recommend to others.

Pros: We were greated on arrival by David who was both friendly and welcoming. The suite was clean, stylish and comfortable. Although we did not use them, the selection of breakfast options was impressive. The onsen, which is tucked in between the trees, was a surreal experience and was the perfect way to end the day. Feeding the chickens in the morning brought a smile. We enjoyed our stay here.
