Shawnigan Hills Guest Suite

Nice

Pros: The suite was very well styled and the beds were very comfortable. The outside area was good to have. The fruit and snacks were very nice.

Cons: The temperature of the suite was controlled from upstairs which was not ideal. A little more information about how items worked would have been useful. We worked it out ourselves as communication wasn't great.

Perfect stay

Pros: Everything was perfect! Very spacious accommodation with lovely hosts!

Overall, we loved our stay and would come again!

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at Shawnigan Hills. The location is beautiful and peaceful. The host provided homemade muffins and fresh fruit for breakfast, which we ate on the lovely patio. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and we all slept well at the place. There are quite a few things to do in the area around the bnb, and it's a great option for a relaxing stay. Hosts were friendly and quick to respond to any of our questions.

Cons: You can definitely hear the pitter patter of the hosts' pets walking around in their home above the guest suite. This wasn't an issue for me, and I was able to sleep well without it is bothering me, but very light sleepers or people very sensitive to noise might want to consider that it is a suite underneath someone's home.

Pros: Tranquil and quiet, spacious and very comfortable beds

Blissful tranquility in Vancouver Island's countryside

Pros: We enjoyed a great stay at Shawnigan Hills Guest Suite. The bed was very comfortable, the host was super helpful, and the animals, especially Pepper, were a big hit with our daughter. Good location to visit Victoria and other places nearby, in a much more tranquil environment.

Cons: If I had to nit-pick, perhaps some healthier breakfast cereal options would be appreciated.

Pros: Peaceful location, very quiet at night. The lamas and sheep. Farm fresh eggs. Everything was as described, easy instructions.

Great location and comfortable accommodations

Pros: It was easy to find and the instructions were clear for how to get in and such. It was very nearby where we needed to go to attend the graduation, which was perfect for us. The welcome basket was very nice and the breakfast items were greatly appreciated.

Cons: The suite was very cold when we arrived. There were space heaters to use once we got inside, but it took a long time to take the chill out. The dog upstairs was a bit unexpected and it barked and woke us all up a couple of times.

Wonderful!

Pros: The place was fantastic. The owners were extremely kind and helpful. The animals and the grounds were amazing. Very relaxing weekend. I would 100 percent recommend this place to everyone.

Cons: Nothing. Everything was fabulous.

One Word: ENJOYABLE

Pros: Breakfast was okay. Should have left $5.00 and taken the dozen of fresh eggs that was in the refrigerator. You cannot get fresh eggs in a supermarket. We did get a bonus,--- Blueberry muffins, fresh baked and still warm that was left for us. The rooms were spacious and clean. In addtion, there was an outdoor, covered patio with furniture The hosts are very nice people.

Cons: A cement walkway where the gravel is to the gate would be better for guests that may have mobility issues.
