Helen's House / Close to Skytrain and Airport

Pros: Location is good, 10mins walk from MRT. The room is also clean and comfortable. Self Check process is nice.

Pros: A surprising and lovely room! The host was very friendly and welcoming. The room was great, with a private and super clean bathroom. Every detail was well taken care of. The only small problem is that the bed is a bit short, but since I’m staying alone, that’s fine—it’s more like my own issue. Yesterday, it took me just a bit over 20 minutes from the airport — taking the SkyTrain and then walking here. If you need to catch a flight the next day and don’t want to travel too far, this is definitely the place to stay.

Pros: Clean, cosy room and bathroom, comfy bed, nice bed linen and towels, lots of complementary cosmetics and drink options. Desk in the room. Good location for public transit (10 min walk to skytrain, 5 to bus). Quiet street, very pleasant location.

Cons: Owners expect guests to take off shoes at entry. No lift (second floor room). Wasn't able to make ac work. There's a cat, and a tiny bit of cat smell coming from outside the room, but my alergies did not flare up, so the cleaning must be good.

Pros: Prestation, a lot of free attention ( the, coffee, sweet) in the bathroom the same.

Pros: No breakfast as such, just some chewy bars and teabags. No milk although Helen said I could use the milk in her fridge.

Excellent

Pros: Excellent! The host Helen is very friendly and flexible ,allow me to check in early even though I put the time is after 3pm. The location is nearby the skytrain station with supermarket and restaurants. The room is on second floor very clean with mobile air-conditioner. She provide extra effort to offer me umbrella in rainy day though I have one. The main floor sitting room is a bit crowded with items but I have no concern. Overall I highly recommended this for solo traveller.

My stay at Helen's place was comfortable and convenient.

Pros: My room and bathroom were very clean and the bed was super comfortable. Helen has thought of everything that a traveller might need for a night. I was also pleased to find a wonderful running/walking path around the Langara golf course very close to the house.

A very convenient stay between flights. I'd want to stay again.

Pros: The room was quiet and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The house was in a quiet residential area and very convenient for catching the skytrain.

Cons: I didn't find any information at the house about places to eat in the area.
