Recommended, we will be returning!
Pros: There are four well appointed guest rooms on the top floor of this residential property, well configured, clean and comfortable. Do not be put off by the do's and don'ts - this is the host's home and the requests are for the benefit of fellow guests ... nothing unreasonable. Linda is a lovely host, keen to make sure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. The location was perfect for us as we had a car and it was close to a relative we were visiting - we did walk into Granville, Downtown and Stanley Park from the accommodation, but it was quite a walk (there are buses very nearby).
Cons: The only thing we feel could be better (but is outside the control of the hosts) is parking - plenty of it on the street, but when cars/trucks are parked both sides of the road there is not a great deal of space to drive through the middle. Park close to the kerb and ideally behind something a little larger then pull the wing mirror in. Our vehicle was not damaged in the week we were there, but it was a concern.

Wonderful house in a great location
Pros: Lovely host, wonderful bed, clean and great location
Cons: The rooms are not soundproof, so other people that stay there at the same time can make noise in the common area that interferes with ability to sleep past 7 am

Brief 2 night stay
Pros: Location was good. Room was spotlessly clean. Bed very comfortable and excellent bedding made it a joy to sleep in. Hosts are warm and friendly and genuinely interested in their guests. All the 'quirks' of this property were fully explained in the confirmation email, so we knew what to expect.
Cons: No plug for the bath...we looked everywhere, we did find one but it did not fit. Not being able to use kitchenette before 7am or after 10pm felt quite restrictive.

Great stay, highly recommend!
Pros: I had a great time at Linda and Jenny’s home, they were very kind and approachable. The room was clean, and breakfast included everything as described. I felt safe as a female solo traveller in the neighbourhood area and will gladly come back in the future.

Excellent for independent travellers.
Pros: It was in a quiet neighbourhood and was easy to get to and from the downtown Vancouver area. The house is well maintained, clean and neat. Bed was comfortable and I had absolute privacy. The host Linda was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.
Cons: Nothing.

Warm hospitality and spotless comfort – a true home away from home
Pros: This recently built, modern house is located in a quiet residential area just outside the city centre. You can leave your car parked on the street (for free!) and take the bus to the city centre – you’ll be at Canada Place in about 30 minutes. The room – and the entire house – is impeccably clean, perhaps thanks to the “no outdoor shoes indoors” policy. The room is tastefully and neatly decorated, and we really loved the style. There’s a shared kitchenette available for guests, though we didn’t use it much during our stay. Linda and her family are wonderfully warm and welcoming, always ready with tips and advice to help you make the most of your visit. The delicious breakfast is different every day and served at a large dining table, where guests can enjoy friendly conversation – with Linda happily joining in. This was, without a doubt, the very best accommodation we stayed in during our three-week road trip!
Cons: For us, it was no issue at all, but it’s worth noting that there are a few house rules to follow, since the property is also Linda and her family’s home (and not just a guesthouse). These rules are clearly communicated right after booking, so you know exactly what to expect.
