Wonderful experience

Pros: My friend and I stayed at Lipton Place on Christmass Eve. We booked a regular room but Mr. Yang generousely upgraded us to the most luxury room. The room was amazing, so clean, cozy and comfortable. The view of the room to the lake was stunning. The location was so convenient with about 10 min drive to Vic DT, and many cafes and eaterys nearby, in addition to the lake right in front of the house that makes it great for a morning/evening walk. Mr. Yang was so responsive to the messages, he also kindly accepted us to check in earlier. We definitely loved it a d will book it again.

Pros: The room was spacious and comfortable with many unexpected features such as a sauna. The location was great with a walking trail by the Gorge right across the street. It was easy to get places from there. We were undisturbed during our stay.

Cons: There was no housekeeping during our stay although I'm sure there would have been if we asked.

Perfect location and views

Pros: This was one of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed in. From the amazing shower pressure to the thoughtful toiletries , sauna and guidebook, everything exceeded our expectations. The balcony view was umfogettable and Manager was so kind and helpful ..

Pros: The room was spacious and comfortable. We loved how clean and nicely decorated it was. The bathroom was immaculately clean and the shower was great. I appreciated all of the little convenient touches, such as the hooks and spaces to store items, the lighted mirror, the magnetic shower head, the automatic lighting in the hallways, and the spacious parking. We met the owner and he provided clear instructions and was very friendly. We enjoyed the coffee provided in the common area. Superb value, we highly recommend.

Very short stay - arrived at 9pm and left at 6am, but it was a very enjoyable stay.

Pros: Was easy to access, even when arriving so late. Place was clean and quiet. Bed was very comfortable.

On the Gorge Waterway

Pros: The facility was in an historical home on the Gorge waterway in Victoria. Exceptionally clean, bright and well appointed. Very private and spacious. Our suite was upstairs- lovely bedroom opening into a writing area. A large bathroom opened off that AND a living dining room! I checked the price I'd paid thinking it was much more expensive than I'd thought. A low price for such a gracious suite.

Pros: We loved the room with its beautiful victorian furniture and the large window and balcony with its water view. The lights over the bed gave a special feeling of the stars above. They could be turned off. The area is beautiful and peaceful. Walking along the water was so nice and the Japanese garden we discovered just added to everything else. The tv is huge which was nice to watch. The bidet toilet, which we love, brought memories from our trip to Japan. And the water pressure in the shower is wonderful to relax the body. The whole place had a very positive feeling to it.

Cons: The 2 things that interfered with perfection, for us, was the noise we could hear from time to time from the adjoining room and the noise the bed made when turning.

It was exactly what i was looking for !

Pros: It was very clean. The owner was very friendly. I loved the architecture which brought me back in time to Victoria of old. The neighbourhood is amazing with nice walks along the inlet. Amaaaaazing!

Pros: Everything was so perfect! Can’t recommend enough!! The host was so kind and helpful, the place was clean and full of cool gadgets. Great value for money!!!
