Best alternative to a hotel in the area for a 1 bedroom space

Pros: The host was lovely and ready to guide or help in any way. They are easy to contact and friendly. It's located in a quiet neighborhood and close to amenities. You have access to nearly everything you need to be comfortable for a short duration stay, and they provide additional items in case you forgot something like shampoo, toothbrushes, etc. They also leave detailed instructions for how to use devices, access netflix, turn on the shower, etc. The motivational notes were cute and my son liked the pictures.

Cons: While they are very respectful, we could still hear every step they took. It is likely just related to insulation, and it wasn't unbearable by any means. You'd deal with far more noise being in a hotel downtown, and they have quiet hours that are respected so it doesn't affect sleep.

The hostess with the mostest!

Pros: The host was very clear in her communication and did not leave anything to be unanswered. The bed and pillows were comfy and it was nice to chill out with Netflix before bed. The suite was very clean and everything that we needed and more was there. Fresh filtered water, coffee, cream and treats in the fridge, and even toys for my son to play with. I would have liked to stay longer. We will be back again.

Cons: A little bit of noise upstairs, but not while we were sleeping. The couch wasn't the comfiest, but we weren't there long enough for that to be an issue. We were exploring fun things to do. The suite is in Langford, but the level of service that we got, I would stay here again and again even though it was a drive to get into the downtown core.

Pros: Private entrance to your unit and private washroom. Our hostess was wonderful and welcoming. The extra small touches were amazing, and her baked goods absolutely devine. Very easy to find, parking right in front of the house, and no stairs to carry your luggage down. I would definitely book this again when we return to the Victoria region.

Pros: The host gave us a warm welcome and surprise us with a homemade treats. The place is very clean and organized. Everything you need is there and the host is always available if you need them. I will recommend this place to my kids and relatives. It is truly a very nice place to stay.
