Pros: The property was very clean well stocked and tastefully decorated. The neighborhood was quite and peaceful. We had a very gracious host who exceeded our expectations.

Pros: The location of the house was on beautiful Bear Mountain, close to the highway and a good proximity to stores and Victoria, downtown. The beds were comfortable and the home is spacious and renovated.

Cons: No Air conditioning and the grass was long for 3/4 of our stay. I asked the owner to cut the grass the day before we left because we had people coming over for a BBQ. He cut it upon request but I was really hoping that he did it before we arrived so we could use the backyard. The owner lives in an apartment over the garage. He did not come into the house while we were there but he is on the property.

Pros: Superb, photos did not do it justice. Extremely clean and comfortable, with everything we needed & more! The host Hassy was really helpful & very quick to answer any questions

Cons: Would be enhanced by some basic instructions, such as how to work the shower (over bath, which Hassy answered in minutes!) & coffee machine

Best place on our three week trip.

Pros: Hassy was lovely. Great communicator, nothing too much trouble and left some great goodies for us. My grown up children insisted we did a road trip as I haven't had a holiday since my husband died. In three weeks, this was by far the best accommodation we had and in fact one of the best places I have ever stayed. Being of a certain age, I appreciated the downstairs ensuite bedroom for me. Great instructions and appliances easy to use. Enjoyed sitting in the garden listening to the birds. Wish we'd stayed longer. Thanks Hassy.

Cons: Being a wheelchair user, found pavement steep, but it wasn't a problem and Hassy can't alter it!!!

Gorgeous stay near Victoria!

Pros: The house is wonderful! It has all you could need and more. It’s very spacious, clean, and comfortable. It’s easy to cook there, and has a fantastic range of equipment, including an air fryer and gas hob. It’s a great place to socialise. The beds are comfy, and it’s very quiet. The garden is just so special- it backs onto woodland and there is an abundance of birds , and even rabbits. There is a woodland trail out the back which is worth walking, the views are spectacular. We absolutely loved staying here, and highly recommend it. It’s only about 20 mins to drive into Victoria. The host, Hassi, lives in the suite, so he is accessible if needed, and is very friendly and helpful.

Perfect location for golf holiday and to explore the island, loved our stay here on Bear Mountain!

Pros: Great location, clean comfortable accommodation. Welcome basket was a nice unexpected touch. Host was easy to contact and very responsive.

Perfect host, perfect place, perfect price. What more can you ask for?

Pros: The property was the perfect location for a family reunion. We all had ample space. We spent time to cook and the kitchen was well equipped. A lot of thought went into ensuring that everything was functional. Small things, like plenty of plates so that you do not have to wash up plates before using the next one. Spices were provided along with a lot of other complimentary food items. Hassy even left us a complimentary bottle of wine! Over the top really and not expected. The quality of the house was exceptional and way better than we were expecting! We run a lodge in northwest BC and know how much work goes into providing high quality service. Hassy is as good at it gets! Highly recommend.

Cons: Well, there was not a corkscrew. Nothing! Cannot find fault.

Fun, clean, safe -- just what we were looking for.

Pros: We rented this space for our staff party. The host, Hassy, was very friendly, hospitable, and provided for our every need. We had a wonderful night at this beautiful escape. The sauna and cold plunge pools were so cool!

Cons: Can't think of anything. It was all perfect =)
