Pros: My battery froze..they brought in the maintenance man to help boost me... in -40 temp!! They were so wonderful with me. And my kids the whole 2 days.

Pros: Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good. The room was clean and the hotel was very quiet. The waterside was fantastic!

Cons: The hottub was broken, but we knew that as the website stated, it was down for maintenance.

Pros: Breakfast was really good. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Nicer than expected for a roadside motel. We didn't use the pool or exercise room but both looked really nice.

Cons: Paper plates and not very functional disposable cutlery at breakfast were off putting. Although the least expensive in the motel row along the highway, it was still pricey.

Way Upscale Motel 8 - both in amenities & cost

Pros: It ia a larger room with a kitchette (sink, fridge, microwave, coffee maker). Comfortable bed. Good wifi. Easy chair. Great breakfast included (eggs, bacon, potatoes, breads, waffles, muffins, yogurt, fruit, etc). Lots of close parking. Boston Pizza next door. Hot tub, pool & water slide

Cons: This is not the Motel 8 we grew up with - basic but affordable lodging. They've gone upscale as have the rates. Pet fee was $25 plus $150 deposit

Pros: The rooms are very modern and clean. It is located next to the Boston Pizza so that is very convenient. I was able to park right outside my room on the main floor which is very nice. The breakfast was good too!
